  Modern, Affordable, Convenient hotel with Superb Staff

  It was a pleasant experience interacting with staff here and getting to see the hotel and surroundings. I checked in very late and there was an issue with my room. The night manager was not able to resolve the issue. However, he promptly called the property manager Francesca and explained the issue. I was very surprised to know that Francesca drove to the hotel in middle of the night and promptly took care of the issue with the room. She and the night manager were very courteous and ensured they kept me updated. The hotel has a very modern ambience to it. It is located close to the fascinating city of Verona. Easy to get to the freeway, but still secluded so that there is no traffic noise. The price is very attractive compared to other BW properties.Overall, an affordable, modern hotel with very helpful staff and excellent location. I would stay there again if I were to travel in this area again.

  A bit basic, perfectly fine, but not 4 star.

  I recently left a suite of 4 rooms, with consierge parking, 24 hour room service and every attention to detail taken care of, and have stayed 2 nights in this, perfectly adequate hotel that is basic, clean, but has no restaurant evening food. The two don't compare and yet in Italy they are both 4 star. How can a hotel with no dinner service and, even although I opted for an executive room, basic plain rooms be clasified as equal. I would say that the breakfast here is a bargain at €8 and compares with any of the hotels on this trip, some charging a whoping €30. It is a basic 1 night 2 night max stay hotel you use to bed down. One wouldn't stay for a week. It is far from the historic centre €30 in a taxi, so be aware of that and the area around it is...well! a bit dodgie. The enterence to the hotel is a petrol station and there is deralict land around it. I was wary of leaving my car parked at the front of the hotel on view. Other than that, it did the job. One last message to the hotwl, which I am going to start leaving to every hotel, why do you insist in starting to clean and bang around at 07:00? Its not ok. Most of your guests if on holiday of even on work dont want to be woken by staff hoovering or banging around at 07:00.

  Lovely hotel and staff.

  The staff at this hotel are very professional and welcoming.We had a decent size double room with an en-suite bathroom. The bed and room were fine but the bathroom was a bit cramped. You need a car to go to the centre of Verona if you arrive late in the evening, like we did as there isn’t any public transport coming back at night.

  Booked to stay here for the weekend however it happened to also be a public holiday weekend (Feast of the Immaculate Conception). Limited public transport back to the hotel which worked out approx 25 Euros from Piazza Bra to the hotel after 8pm on both Friday and Saturday night. Hotel reception sell bus tickets and the stop to get into the city centre is right opposite the hotel. Hotel itself seems pleasant / slightly dated. Had some problems with the room which my travel agent was prompt to refund me on however the attitude of the night staff Hawa and Yasmin left a sour taste. They lacked empathy and generally lacked any customer service skills. The room itself was clean, modern and looked relatively new. Being positioned right outside the lift meant it was noisy and you could hear running water from flushes next door, etc which wasn't great. On a positive the room temperature was nice as was the shower.

  Charged to move rooms because of smell of smoke. The staff were very friendly, but when we left they charged us for a room change, even though it was because the original room smelled of smoke. When we disputed this matter, they were still very firm that we needed to pay this room charge. Francesca B, Servizi per gli ospiti/front office at Best Western Hotel Turismo, responded to this review Dear Traveller,we are a smoking free hotel. Your request was to sleep on the back side and to upgrade in a bigger room. After 2 hour of your arrival you move from a classic to an executive room. The receptionist inform you about the extra charge due to the room upgrade.best regards,Francesca
