  Very very good hotel. Food is excellent, hotel is very clean and staff are very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is 15 minutes outside Verona by taxi and there is a small free shuttle bus (8 passengers) that runs at 09:00. 12:00. 16:20 and 19:20. The only reason we did not give five stars was that we could not book the shuttle on certain days due to it being busy. Swimming pool was excellent

  We spent a week staying at the hotel Saccardi as we were travelling around Lake Garda and the surrounding areas.The hotel is quirky and immaculately clean. The staff are amazing and very helpful with everything.Manajeet, the housekeeper, cleaned our room every morning while we were at breakfast, and the room was always spectacularly clean.The restaurant staff were very accommodating and even gave my husband a special birthday brownie with a candle in it. The food was excellent in the restaurant and also in the hotel bar, prices were quite reasonable.The wellness spa was great, and I used the indoor pool daily, which was always clean and well maintained. They even put pool towels in your room, which was an added bonus.The shuttle bus is great, we used it to go into Verona city and back, although you have to book it.The only gripe is the building work that is going on next to the hotel. The daily morning wake-up call at 7.30 of beep beep beep, of the trucks reversing wasn't great, but we were out all day every day, so buy the time we got back, it was finished. We will definitely return to the Saccardi as there is so much more to see and do.

  Good location, near the airport and not far from the City. Provide shuttle bus that needs to be booked, but still very convenient. Hotel and room is like in the 70ties. It is clean and the people from the cleaning lady to the reception and all the waiters are very nice. Breakfast is very good. A big selection.

  Lovely 4 night stay at Hotel Saccardi

  Just returned from a lovely 4 night stay at Hotel Saccardi and was very pleasantly surprised. Firstly, the staff - wow, you cannot fault their work ethic, attentiveness, friendliness and willingness to help you with anything they can (& this is everyone, receptionists/waiters/cleaners/shuttle drivers) - they put a lot of other hotel staff to shame! They really are a credit to the hotel.The hotel itself is not in a scenic location in my opinion with works currently going on just behind the pool area, HOWEVER, its location is perfect for a quick transport journey to/from the airport, city centre and train station making it ideal to explore.The hotel runs a free shuttle service to and from the airport, town and station which is a great touch, however they are at certain times (latest one back to the hotel is fairly early). Around these times, the hotel is super helpful in arranging you a taxi and giving advice on your best/cost effective way to explore where you want to.We stayed in a double room which was fairly basic but spotless - the cleaners really do a thorough job. Beds are comfy enough, nice hot powerful shower, mini fridge in room to use however one downside was no tea/coffee making facilities which we missed - that being said, i do know some other rooms have this so I have no doubt if we had asked, they would’ve sorted for us.The breakfast buffet is nice, plenty of choice sweet & savoury but we did notice it doesn’t change each morning (well for the 4 mornings we dined anyway!). But it wasn’t an issue to be honest. We also dined in the restaurant one evening - the waiter/chef were extremely accommodating to my nut allergy and also gave advice for when dining out & about in Italy.The pool area is nice with plenty of beds. Also a nice outdoor seating area for breakfast/dinner/ drinks. The gym is open 24:7 but fairly basic (has what you’d need though!). The bar does shut fairly early every evening which would’ve been nice to have the option to have a tea/coffee/drinks of an evening before going to the room but again, the staff did continue to serve is post closing time one evening which they really didn’t have to do but was very much appreciated! Overall, a very nice stay, great value for money, would definitely recommend and would also return!

  We found this to be an excellent hotel that was the ideal base for our trip to Verona. The transfer time from the airport was around ten minutes and the time to get into Verona was also about ten minutes. The hotel run shuttle buses for both the airport and Verona and can do drop off’s at the train station on the way into Verona.Because of it’s location between the airport and the city of Verona, the hotel is not in the most picturesque of places, so if the peace of rolling Italian countryside or mountains is what you are after, this is not the place for you. Neither is it if you don’t want the sound of aircraft or traffic, there is not a lot, but there is some.HOWEVER, if you enjoy🍕delicious food👋🏼 friendly and courteous staff🏊🏻‍♀️ a lovely pool with towels provided🍹drinks served by the pool🫒 a quiet bar/cafe🛋️ reception area with comfy sofas and chairs🫧 a clean, comfy room and bathroom with clean bath towelsand🪭 air conditioning then this IS the place for you.With our special thanks to ☀️ all of the reception staff, especially for keeping the luggage of we two crazy English ladies safe on our first and last days AND for providing us with cushions for the opera🚌 the shuttle bus drivers🥗 Hisham, Claudio and their colleague who served us on the first and last nights of our trip and all the breakfasts in between 🧊 Marcella who served us several rounds of “dua aqua” for “stanza uno, due, Otto” (big hugs 🤗)🏖️ Danielle who worked hard to keep the pool area in tip top order👩🏻 maid service for the lovely clean towels and beautifully made bedsAll of these people worked hard, kept a calm and pleasant atmosphere throughout the hotel and most of all made us want to return. Verona itself is a beautiful city. If you are only there for a short time it is worth doing an opera at the Arena di Verona, a night time tour of the city and a self guided tour of the four main churches.
