    Great hotel, great location

    Lovely hotel around a 30 minute easy walk from centre of old town. Easy walk to railway station which is where you can get bus to various locations. Also the red airport transfer bus is outside station. €7 pp every 20 mins. Hotel is immaculately clean with good sized rooms. Only downside is no tea/coffee making facilities in room, but downstairs bar is always open to buy there and take to room if you wish. Breakfast is a great selection of fresh food, both hot and cold daily. Friendly staff and we even met the resident cat !!!

    A great hotel not too far from the center. Bedroom big and perfectly furnished with a comfortable bed. Averything was clean and nice. Staff is very friendly and helpfull if questions arise. The breakfast offers plenty of choices. All in one a great hotel in a great city.

    Just returned from a 3 day break in Verona , staying at the hotel Leopardi. The room was clean and adequate , staff friendly and competent. It’s a 20 min walk into the Pizza Bra , but there is a lovely square with some very nice restaurants only 10 mins from the hotel on the way into town . However I must point out that if you stay and the wind gets up , you may not get much sleep . The cladding on the hotel is metal and one night we had high winds and it was like trying to sleep in a tin full of stones . This is well documented if you goggle the hotel . So be warned . In summer you may have no issues , but this time of year be AWARE !!!! Shame really because other than that it was ok!

    We've just returned from a three night stay at Hotel Leopardi. The negatives are: the distance from the old town (a good half hour walk mainly along a very busy, polluted road) ; lighting in the room is very odd - one switch turned the bathroom light and all the bedroom lights on at once. We did manage to isolate the lights once or twice but they were temperamental to say the least; I used the hair dryer which blew the electrics, but no worries because there is a breaker switch in the room (probably for this very reason), so you can reset the electrics; The lift shakes when you get in it.Positives: Breakfast was really good (one of the best we've had in a European hotel); the staff are nice; the restaurant is good; the rooms are very clean, and the bed in our room was probably the most comfortable we've slept on (including our own at home). If you want to be close to the old town, this isn't the hotel for you, but it is a good choice if you're ok with a walk. Oh and the hotel seems to have a resident cat. Big bonus for me.
