    Hotel very close to city center

    Hotel is really good situated. They have a parking but you need to reserve in advance. We had a room in the ground floor which was nice and bathroom was big. Breakfast was fine the only thing I did not like was the eggs they were cold.

    We had a very comfortable stay at Hotel Marco Polo. The room was great for a long weekend city break, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, complimentary toiletries and a mini bar which was reasonably priced. Breakfast was served in the main building and was plentiful. The staff were most helpful and welcoming. No complaints at all.If you are looking for luxurious glitz and glamour then this is not the hotel for you, however if you want a comfortable base to explore the city then this is excellent. We will use again as cannot wait to return to this beautiful city.

    I really liked this hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and quiet. The Arena and Castelvecchio are 5 min walking distance. The breakfast is in another bulding but it was not a problem for us. I recommend this hotel, we will definitely come back :)

    Reception staff are friendly and super nice. The cleaning service was not good.There are stains on the bed sheets and despite telling staff about this they were not changed, replacement towels were also forgotten. I had to just put a towel over this stain and try to my best to forget about it. This is my second time staying at marco polo, I came back because I remember having a comfortable stay first time around. I will not return again.

    Pleasant overnight stay in a clean and refurbished classic hotel room. Comfortable bed and large bathroom with good tv, mini fridge, and WiFi. The breakfast was also excellent. Aircon was the only part of the room that felt out of date, but it was comfortable enough after a while.One small quirk is that the “hotel” is two fully separate buildings. I was in the one that was not staffed, but it was only a few doors down and the reception in the main building was very efficient in welcoming me and explaining the process for entering the second building.Well located at 15 minutes’ walk from the train station and 5-7 from the arena. Would happily stay again, if in Verona.
