  Very basic service and rooms

  Very basic 3 star hotel. Rooms are a tad bigger and we appreciate the small table and chair which we used for resting. Lobby had great seating which we loved to stay at while waiting for our ride. The only disappointing part was the breakfast. It was bad. They could just have served bento boxes for a more Japanese feel.   Fresh and spacious hotel rooms in excellent location.

  Excellent location - just across fromHiroshima station. Made getting around the city so easy. Huge clean and comfortable room, with lovely views over the city and out to the bay and islands. Beds are on the firmer side - but we slept very well, and found them more comfortable than mattresses in other Japanese hotels of the same or better class. Best bathroom set up I've ever seen in a hotel. All very fresh (?recent renovation), and all appliances/details working well. Staff helpful and friendly.   Nice Room but….

  Even though we appreciated the spacious rooms and the well-thought-out bathroom layout, the hotel seemed more suited for corporate business use and lacked a certain finesse.During breakfast, we requested assistance from a staff member to prepare two fried eggs, as the ones available had ham on top. As strict vegetarians while traveling, contamination with meat was unacceptable. Unfortunately, our polite request was declined, and we were advised to opt for another option, despite the hotel not being busy at the time.   Excellent hotel apart from the very hard beds / pillows and no international news channels

  We arrived at the hotel around 15h00 and were met at reception by two very friendly and helpful ladies who checked us in and gave us our room key whilst explaining the workings of the hotel such as the laundry on the 15th floor and beverage vending machines with a free ice machine and a microwave (1 only) on the 16th floor. Coffee bags, tea bags, face cloths, razors and other personal toiletries are laid out in reception for you to take as required at no charge.This hotel itself has its reception on the 13th floor and the rooms on the floors above that, the floors up to and including 12 are occupied by businesses but the elevators do not allow access to those floors. On the ground floor as you enter the building there is a very handy and well stocked 7/11 convenience store should you wish to purchase your food and eat it in the hotel.Our room was large by Japanese hotel standards and comprised of an open closet as you walk in followed by one of the nicest bathrooms I have ever come across in a hotel with an ante-room in which the basin was located and then next to that a huge wet room comprising of a large overhead shower rose and a full bath side by side in this room. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner of very high quality were available. Next to the wet room was the door to the normal Japanese electronic toilet with the controls mounted on the wall next to you.The bedroom contained two hard three-quarter beds each with just one hard pillow. I like a hard bed but this was unfortunately just a little too hard for me which resulted in me having rather restless nights. Apart from the beds the room consisted of two chairs and a desk / table and a long headboard incorporating a long light. A large flat screen TV was mounted on the wall above this desk / table.Another oddity was that there is not a single international news channel available on the television so if you want to stay abreast with international events you have to stream it on one of your electronic devices. The hotel WIFI was good and I managed to stream whatever I wanted without issue.The location of this hotel is excellent, that being about 150 metres from the main Hiroshima train station. The surrounding area is very commercial but we found the hotel to be well located for our purpose which was sightseeing and we like to walk which suited us well.
