    A Nice Stay

    This is a very modern and clean hotel. Our room has a great view. Breakfast is on the top floor with amazing views on both sides. It is very close to the Peace Park and shopping and restaurant area. My only complaint is that the check/out process was uncomfortable. The staff spoke almost no English which is surprising for a major hotel chain, and they kept trying to force to use their automated check machines. Also the toilet paper was so thin if fell apart in your hands.     Great room, fabulous view, amazing 25th floor lounge!

    We stayed here for 2 nights. We are a couple in our 60s. We had booked a deluxe 1 bed king room on the 24th floor! WOW! We loved it1 The room was BIG & especially liked that the toilet was separate from the sink & shower. Best of all was the VIEW! This room had 3 large windows & you could see the city in all of its glory! The 25th floor lounge was amazing - it was like an observation tower where you could sit & overlook the city while sipping drinks during the happy hour! We went up there each night! The lobby was a little sterile & not very inviting but we did not care because of the 25th floor lounge! Staff was helpful & friendly! We would recommend this hotel.

    Wonderful location, but rooms in need of renovation

    Overall a wonderful stay in Hiroshima. The hotel lobby itself is beautifully presented but the rooms are a little tired and in need of renovation. The staff were welcoming and so helpful when organising a restaurant reservation.The hotel is in the perfect location, around a 10 minute bus journey from Hiroshima station and a 10 minute walk from Peace Memorial Park.

    A reasonable good hotel to stay

    Just stayed for 2 nights in this hotel.In term of location, its rather good as its less than 5 minutes walk to Fukuro machi tram stop. You can take tram line 1 to Hiroshima station which takes about 25 minutes due to numurous stop and the slow pace the tram moves.The hotel is situated on Peace Boulevard and its about 10 minutes walk to the historical A Bomb Dome, Peace Park and surrounding. Hiroshima castle is about 15 to 20 minutes walk away. You can also have a nice stroll along the Honkawa river and being sakura time, you have a beautiful sight of the sakura blooming.There are many dining options around.One issue we faced on the first night was that the air con was not cold and seems to be blowing hot air. We spoke to one of the front counter staff and she came up to the room to check. Then she was kind enough to bring up a mobile air con unit to the room and on the humifier in the room while advised to switch off the centralised room unit. This help and we had no issue after that.Overall, a hotel to consider when in Hiroshima.

    Fun and Friendly Staff

    We had a great stay at Mitsui Gardens Hotel. Room was well appointed and we loved the pyjamas that were supplied. Hotel breakfast was superb and with great views from the 25th floor across the city. Staff were friendly, welcoming and so helpful. Also has a coin operated laundry which was very useful. Well located about 10 minutes walk from the Atomic Dome.
