    The location is excellent—less than a 5-minute walk from the main station. We arrived early in the morning from the airport by train, walked out of the station, and spotted our hotel right across the street. We were able to drop off our bags and start exploring the city immediately.When we came back after dinner, all of our luggage had already been moved to our room, so we didn't have to haul it ourselves! We went straight to the onsen floor and took a shower without even unpacking, which was incredibly convenient since they provide soap and shampoo at the sitting showers next to the bath.Soaking there completely melted away all of our travel fatigue and chaos—the onsen really did the trick! As a wonderful bonus, there was free ice cream right by the exit. What a treat!Breakfast was also fantastic, featuring a wide variety of both Japanese and Western options. Lastly, I had an accident during the trip (completely unrelated to the hotel), and the hotel manager was incredibly helpful.

    Few min walk from kyoto JR station. Room was avg but adequate, love the in house communal onsen which was big for as a small hotel, with indoor & open air baths & sauna room. Love the free ramen at nite.

    Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst exploring Kyoto. The hotel is centrally placed near the train station for exploring Kyoto and transport links. It’s a large hotel with a busy vibe. I had a solo room which was pretty basic, small and compact, comfortable bed and linen good quality. Couldn’t use the onsen due to having tattoos which was a shame but I totally understand the reason. Didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on the food.

    Great location right by train station and lots of shops, restaurants. Room has everything you need.Breakfast is standard.No where to sit or meet up other than a small foyer. But overall a good choice.

    Ah, onsen... such a special experience, don't miss it!

    Just minutes from Kyoto Station and offers a natural onsen! The best possible combination. Going to an onsen town and relaxing there for a few days would be ideal, but if there is no time in the itinerary for such a treat, this is a perfect solution. I enjoyed onsen on both evenings of our stay after sightseeing, it was incredibly relaxing and it added considerably to my general Japan experience, I will always remember it. Such an important aspect of japanese culture was at our reach, just steps from our room, worth every penny. Our twin room was bigger than expected, really decent size, with an actual sitting area to watch TV. Very comfortable beds. Combining fabulous Kyoto with onsen experience at Dormy Inn Premium was an excellent choice, all at a stone throw of Kyoto Station and the Shinkansen. It was also very convenient for our trip to Fushimi Inari and Nara.
