    Very centrally located for visiting the sites in Kyoto. Close to Gion and the Kamogawa river. Train line and station is 3 minute walk. The rooms are well equipped with a kitchenette which includes fridge, microwave, toaster oven, basic dishes and utensils. A grocery store is a 10 minute walk away. There are also included laundry facilities on each floor. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. Be aware that Japanese hotel rooms are small but functional. The only negative thing is that there is quite a lot of street noise into the night.

    Well equipped room with comfy bed and super strong shower. Free laundry and dryer on each floor very useful. Great location for ginza and golden and silver pavilions. Helpful staff. Nice breakfast at cafe next door with toasted sandwiches

    Kyoto was special for us, thanks a lot all the staff at the Gozan hotel and serviced apartment Higashimachi Sanyo for all the advices , and for help us to transfer our luggage to Sapporo, Our apartment was Amazing with our Japanese Garden! It was a very special and wonderful stay, definitely we will be back ❤️❤️❤️

    Stayed for 4 nights in June. The hotel is less than 5 minutes to metro station and walkable to major attractions. The room was just like the picture, very spacious and free washing machine and dryer on the same floor. They only took out trash and changed towels everyday, which is enough for me. The only drawback was my room faced the street side, so traffic noise is a problem if you're a light sleeper. And it was communicated clearly from the hotel after booking. Will stay again.

    Stayed here for 4 nights. Loved the comfort of having dining table inside and out, an outside bath with access to shower and bathroom. Rice cooker provided. Two washing machines. Two bathrooms! Very quiet. Duvet very cozy! Coffee provided in reception and breakfast vouchers for coffee shop next door sandwiches and drinks nice. Several convenience stores outside and short walk to so many restaurants and an alleyway with all the restaurants in it by the river! Sanjo Keihan station very close to hotel, 2 minutes walk. 12 minute walk to maruyama park and 30 minutes to the old town. 15 minutes to shopping in gion.
