  Great location just a few minutes walk from the subway and main Kyoto Stations. Room a little small but fine for a couple and comfortable. Mini fridge, Electric Tea Kettle and toiletries. Loved the free ice cream available. Laundry was very useful and there was breakfast available but we didn't partake.   Stylish hotel, but rooms and bathroom are small

  The room and the hotel public areas were stylish. The room itself was small and had no wardrobe or drawers space. It did have large twin beds and the pillow and bed itself were comfortable.The bathroom was also small but it did have a gorgeous and unusual sink.The breakfast buffet had a variety of Japanese and western dishes.   A good and comfortable stay

  It was located at a very convenient walking distance from Kyoto Station. Had good choice of eating options and convenience stores nearby. Was easy access from Bus stops connecting to main attractions in and around Kyoto. Staff were friendly and accommodating, rooms were very well appointed and spacious. Amenities were good. The breakfast spread was elaborate but repetitive.   Good hotel, excellent breakfast

  The hotel had a great location near Kyoto train station.The room was good size but narrow so there was almost no space between the beds, and there wasn't nightstands. There weren't any closets. There was a separate toilet with a sink and a bath area.The buffet breakfast was splendid and had Western and Japanese items: ham, fish, hot dogs, chicken, pork, shrimps, croissants and other pastries, corn/onion/minestrone/miso soup, fresh and canned fruits (including lychees), fresh and roasted vegetables, yogurt, tea/coffee/soft drinks, and many more.The hotel provides tea and sugar (there is a kettle in the room), toothbrushes with toothpaste, razors, facial cleansers, etc. There were free tiny (one-bite) ice-cream treats.   Unprofessional front desk staff

  We were given a tiny room at the end of the corridor on the first floor. The room was not representative of what was shown in the photos they provide. The room must have been only half the size of the advertised size as it was jammed in at the end of the corridor.We called down to the front desk, and asked to switch to another room. We were staying for 7 nights, so we were happy to spend one night in the tiny room if there were no others available. The front desk manager insisted that the room we were in was the same as we booked, it clearly wasn’t. When I started to complain, his ability to speak English conveniently got much worse, to the point where it was impossible to actually speak to him. He insisted that the room we had was the same as the others.Overall, a very unprofessional experience at this hotel. The area also didn’t have much going on. Convenient only for walking distance to Kyoto station. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
