    Perfect stay for families with young kids!

    Mimaru was a wonderful place to rest after a full day of exploring Kyoto! The accommodations were perfect for our family of four. We traveled with another family and it was so much to have adjoining rooms so that our kids can play and not have to run through the halls. The beds were so comfy and the kitchenette and living space was perfect so that we could enjoy breakfast before a full day of exploring. We loved having a washer and dryer in the unit.     Comfortable apartment in great part of Kyoto

    Great apartment with everything we needed. Washer and dryer very handy. I would recommend being on a high floor because low floors may find the busy street noise an issue. Close to bus station and Omiya train station was only 10min walk to get into town or Arashiyama. Centre of Kyoto and gion district was a good 30min walk but we enjoyed the walk through the lovely alleyways. Taxis are also easy to get around town and cheap. Taxis to main part of town about AU$15. 7/11 and Lawson close by. Staff at reception were always helpful with any questions we had.     Excellent Hotel Appartment in Koyoto near the Nijo Castle. Rooms were very spacious with a full stove, microwave and all kitchen items. Bathroom was full size with bath and shower. Seperate area with a workspace and TV.
