  Excellent location. Lots room for the family. Friendly front desk staff.

  We stayed here for 4 nights with the whole family. The rooms are very large. The washing machine was very useful since it was toward the end of out trip. The front desk staff was very friendly. Excellent location. We walked to most of the sites, even Gion.   Clean, spacious room with kitchen facilities. We also had a washing machine in our room. Location in a quiet neighbourhood. Located at Karasuma oike station (5 minute walk). Family mart/ 711 within a couple of minutes walk. Nishiki market about 15 minute walk. McDonald’s 5 minute walk and restaurants all around. Would stay here again.   Large spacious apart hotel, with all the amenities you'd want.

  Large spacious apart hotel, with all the amenities you'd want. Location is good although not at the busiest heart of the city, it is close to 2 stations and bus routes. Nishiki Market and Pontocho are in walking distance but you not near noisy crowds. Several breakfast options are nearby including chain restaurants, several coffee shops and bakeries. Family rooms are spacious and modern - nice big table to enjoy your konbini snacks. Staff are fluent in English and helpful. Good for families with kids.   Well priced, spacious room in a great location. Perfect size for us- family of 4 for 2 nights. Each of us had a bed, and the room was spacious and clean. Even had washing machines. Nearby to markets, a bit of a walk temples- a great spot- esp if you’re happy to walk- as most people do whilst in Japan. Definitely would recommend.   Perfect Family Stay with Incredible Staff Support!

  We had an amazing stay at Mimaru Shinmachi Sanjo! The apartment-style room was spacious and perfect for our family with kids ages 6 to 9. Having a washer and kitchen made things so convenient, and we loved sitting around the dinner table every morning for breakfast. There are plenty of markets nearby, which made shopping for groceries and snacks easy.The staff went above and beyond—helping us search for a special gift for our son and even assisting us with registering on Amazon Japan so we could send it to our next hotel in Tokyo. Their kindness and support made our trip stress-free and memorable.Truly a fantastic family-friendly hotel and the perfect base for exploring Kyoto!
