  Amazing stay!!

  We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would happily return. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, blending traditional Japanese elements with modern comfort.One of our favorite parts of the stay was the Japanese hot tub. After long days of exploring Kyoto, it was the perfect way to relax and unwind. It really made the experience feel special and memorable.The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The location was also excellent, making it easy to explore the city while still feeling like a peaceful retreat.This was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto.   A True Highlight of Our Time in Kyoto

  We loved our stay at Nazuna Tsubaki Street!! Truly one of the best parts about our time in Kyoto. The hotel is essentially a cute little street where you get your own private villa that is two floors with a bedroom and outdoor space and a living room. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was exceptional and provided us complementary snacks and drinks. They also have a really cute service where they can bring you an egg sandwich after hours directly to your room each day! We loved the personal hot tub and they provided us complimentary bath salts to soak after a long day of walking and hiking. We really loved the hotel restaurant as well - we went there breakfast every day and for a dinner as well! Such an incredible experience overall! Highly recommend, especially for couples!   Good location, quiet neighborhood. Staff super friendly and made us feel like special guests. Air conditioning was not very cold, which made for one sleepless night with the hot weather. No windows besides the one facing the open air bath made it feel a little claustrophobic but to be fair it’s a city, so if you’re looking for views of nature maybe look elsewhere. Tight quarters as well without much space for luggage. You have to request room service every day, this should just be done without asking in my opinion. They did a good job cleaning but there was a big bug I found crawling around the first morning that I had to take care of, after that no issues. Western breakfast was pretty good. Coffee in the lounge, not good. So all things considered it was a good stay, but I expected more and better for the price. I would not stay here again given these things.

  We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful ryokan! The staff were very attentive and kind! The dinner was great for meat lovers. Our server/grill master Ray was friendly and fun! The Japanese breakfast was a culinary delight as well. We with we could’ve stayed an extra day.
