  Highly recommend the room with the Private Onsen!

  We had such a wonderful stay at Courtyard Hakuba and would definitely return on our next trip to Hakuba. They had shuttles to bring you from Hakuba Station, but we paid the Nagano transfers alittle more to bring us directly to the hotel. There are convenient buses right outside the hotel taking you to and from the ski slopes, we drove in Hakuba, and there were plenty of parking outside the hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service really impressed us. A Nepalese front desk staff member (we misplaced his name card, sadly) welcomed us so warmly and made the check-in experience smooth and friendly. His genuine hospitality set the tone for the rest of our stay.After a full day on the slopes, coming back to the lobby to find complimentary quiche, onion soup, hot green tea, and even lollipops was such a thoughtful surprise. Those little touches made the hotel feel so cozy, especially in the freezing Hakuba evenings.Towels aren’t provided at the public onsens, so do bring them from your room. And if your room has a private onsen, note that the default water temperature is 40°C — just ask the front desk if you’d like it adjusted. They’re always happy to help. The room with the private onsen is highly recommended as Ive truly enjoyed it. Overall, everything — from the kind service to the relaxing atmosphere — made our stay genuinely memorable. Can’t wait to visit again.

  Shuttle bus (reservations required) was convenient, though maybe it might help if the timings were timed to coincide better with the buses to Tokyo/Nagano.Very professional staff throughout, from front desk to restaurant to housekeeping.

  I stayed 5 nights in mid Feb 2025.Hospitality checkin : Not very welcoming. The Front desk staff ( a elderly Japanese man ) saw me lugging 6 luggages.He made no attempt to help.as i check in early, i asked him to help book a taxi to go to supermarket.He said he doesnt do that.a few minutes later a Mr Mukesh came up to the front desk, and he immedaitely tried to help call a taxi. the same elderly Japanese check in staff (i forget his name ) was very rude when i checked out.i had already checked out and was waiting for transport. he shouted across the lobby that i only registered ONE guest .I told him immediately that he should check my registration.I had already tegistered for 2 guests.In any case, there was no need for him to be so rude , accusing me of trying to cheat the hotelA part from him, the rest of the Japanese staff were very helpful.Mr Khadka Mukesh was also very helpful.Please note however that ALL the frontline staff have NO idea how the transportation works. they just direct u to order a car via UBER. which never works anyway.You will have to do your own research...I recommend you download the app : Hakuba Daytime Demand Taxi.something that you would expect Courtyard Hakuba Frontline who will know. Overall, I will not be returning to Courtyard Hakuba. Overrated , overprice Courtyard. Thank you.

  The property is very clean and well-maintained, and I really like the location with so many restaurants nearby. The private onsen was also pretty nice. The only minor issue I encountered was when I asked the front desk about which ski resorts were fully open, it seemed they weren't fully up to date. So, I just decided to choose one on my own.

  The courtyard marriott was a fabulous experience. The team there are so friendly and helpful, assisting us with ordering taxis, storing luggage, and helping us to understand the ski bus system. We had a room with a private onsen included and it was luxurious after a long ski day. Great experience at this hotel!
