  2 Nights at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Osaka Namba. Some hotels impress with size.Sotetsu Fresa Inn Osaka Namba impresses with thoughtfulness.Check-in was smooth and efficient in a warm, uncluttered lobby. One highlight was the amenities station, where you can pick only what you need—skincare, tea, and a good variety of bath salts. After long days exploring Osaka, a hot bath with bath salts felt especially comforting. A rare but much-appreciated detail: you can choose your pillow type, which noticeably improved sleep quality. The room was compact yet very well designed—spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, strong water pressure, and quiet at night despite the central location.We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast, priced at ¥1,800 per pax, a simple and satisfying way to start the day.Location is a major win. The hotel is right beside Metro Exit #7, with a FamilyMart next door and plenty of restaurants just a stone’s throw away. Shinsaibashi and Ebisubashi shopping and dining areas are also within easy walking distance, making everything incredibly convenient.Step outside and you’re in the heart of Namba. Step back inside and it’s calm and restful again—the perfect balance.I’d happily stay here again.

  Delightful Service, convenient location, and restful accommodation!

  The room size is just right for a solo traveler. The mattress has the right firmness and the pillows are just perfect. The bathroom was clean and had a tub... perfect for soaking aching leg muscles from all the walking. I also appreciate that it's just walking distance from Namba station where yiu can also find the Nankai rappit express train. Family mart is also in the building. It's just a few meters from Namba Yasaka Jinja Shrine that is definitely worth a visit, airport bus is just right infront, and metro railway entrance/exit right infeont as well. Super convenient! Last but not the least, the service by the housekeeping and front desk is friendly, helpful, and exceptional! Needless to say I enjoyed my stay at Sutetsu Fressa Inn Osaka Namba... highly recommended!

  Room is small but who would stay in the room in JAPAN

  The reception is in 2nd floor self service. The staff are helpful and even not always have someone in the front but when you need help, the staff would show up from the back!Free toiletries are very generous in the lobby, wish people are not that greedy (always empty the popular items as soon as they fill up). The restaurant is small and cozy. Not many choices but good to start the day. Must try the Osaka specialty mixed juiceThe familyMark connect to the hotel and very convenience to get snack even in the early wee hours. We had a very enjoyable stay and highly recommend this hotel.

  Excellent Value for Money Hotel

  I stayed here on a solo trip and was extremely happy with the location and service. It is just 4-5 mins away from Namba station. Right in middle of all shopping streets. As this part of my trip was mainly to relax and shop this worked perfectly for me. There is a konbini beneath and buses to Itami right downstairs. The staff is friendly, efficient and all amenities are at lobby or in the room. Only negative I found was that they had put a double bed in my single room and that made moving around difficult, even with my minimal luggage. But that is a minor gripe. Overall a great stay catering to what I was looking for.

  A home away from home

  My husband and I stayed at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Osaka-Namba for 10 nights from 3 April 2025 - 12 April 2025, and then from 16 April 2025 - 17 April 2025. Our room was on the 8th floor, a corner room relatively very small which we expected as hotels in Japan are all small. There was no safety deposit box in the room, but there was a mini fridge which was very handy to store a few cold drinks. Check-in upon arrival is all done by machines and the receptionist girl helped us. The Lobby is very small, the Reception is on the 2nd Floor where you can get all your amenities like tea, coffee, face masks, razors, lotions, creams and so on. Wi-fi is very strong on 5G. The toilet is pretty small and it's a bit inconvenient to climb into the bathtub to have a shower. The water pressure is pretty strong and everything in the room is neat and clean. There is a Family Mart on the Ground Floor where you can buy everything and is open 24/7. Their egg sandwiches are absolutely delicious. The hotel is very conveniently located to many restaurants, shops and Namba train station which is just across the street. There is a money changer just across the hotel in the left corner and a pharmacy around the right corner. Everything is a walking distance from the hotel: eateries, cinema, BIC Camera, Edion electronics store, Don Quijote, Tully's Coffee Shop (great coffee and cakes), Takashimaya Department Store (opposite hotel) and many more. It's a walking distance also to the Tojiro Knife Gallery Namba where we bought several high quality Japanese knives to take back to Australia. Three is an Italian restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel next to Family Mart. The hotel was extra helpful in sending our two big suitcases to Tokyo by Yamamoto Transport for a small fee. The reception guy went down to Family Mart with my husband and did all the paperwork, etc as Family Mart were agents for the transportation service. Excellent, fast, efficient and trustworthy service. The suitcases were waiting for us when we arrived Tokyo. When we went to Kagoshima for three days, we left our big luggage at the hotel and they took care of our belongings free of charge with great care. We will definitely stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn when we return to Osaka. A great place, great service and most convenient for everything. Thank you Sotetsu Fresa Inn Osaka-Namba for making us feel at home away from home. We certainly enjoyed our twelve nights there. Very happy and very impressed. Arigatou.
