  Convenient Location and Amenities

  Had a wonderful stay here. The location is right above the Tawaramachi station making it a great base for exploring Tokyo. It’s also walking distance to Senso-ji Temple.The hotel itself is really nice. The lobby is modern and the staff are helpful and courteous. They can hold your luggage for you if needed. The elevators could take a while though but it’s not a huge problem.The room is a typical Japanese business hotel room in that it is small and compact. The bathroom is also small. My one issue with the room is that it was stuffy/warm. You can crack open the window to help but it will still be warm.My favorite part of this hotel was the public bath/onsen/sento on the top floor. I’m a big guy and the shower in the room is small. The bath on the top floor is spacious and has all the supplies you need to bathe. There’s lockers for you to store your towels and clothes. It’s a bit nerve wracking at first to use but you get used to it right away. Please respect the rules of the bath: no tattoos, no swimsuits (must be nude to use the bath), and please shower before getting in the tub. It’s a very relaxing way to end the day.   Lovely room with public baths!

  This hotel was an excellent find and an excellent stay! The room was small but comfortable with speedy wifi and amenities. The bonus is the onsen on the top floor. It's perfect after a long day of walking around Tokyo! The location also can't be beat, so close to Asakusa and sensoji.   Great Location and Hassle-Free Stay

  My mom and I stayed at APA Hotel Tawaramachi Ekimae during the spring season, and we had a really pleasant experience.The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the train station and close to popular spots around Asakusa, which made getting around very easy for us.The room was quite small, but that seems to be standard for most hotels in Japan, so it wasn’t really an issue. Despite the size, everything we needed was provided. The amenities were complete, and the space was clean and well-maintained.The front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating. We appreciated that they could speak English, and there was also a self check-in machine which made the process faster and more convenient.One nice bonus was the free breakfast at the coffee shop next door. It was simple but a great way to start the day before heading out.We also arranged for luggage delivery from the hotel to the airport, and the whole process was smooth and hassle-free, which made our trip even more comfortable.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely consider coming back.   Hot room, with no guest control of AC or Heat

  Guest will have no control of AC/Heat... so good luck. The Room are small, the bed is stiff, you only get two pillows, combined its almost one pillow. I might still have given this hotel 3-4 stars depending on how the rest of my stay goes i might given it 4. I am here for a few more days, my biggest issue is the room is hot, they have a warning that the AC and Heat is controlled by lobby on the room TV info channel, so i asked if they can allow my room to borrow a fan because it was the info on the room tv instructions. Instead they said they will changed the room from hesting to air, with the room air on, it feels like the room is still extremely hot. The windows can only be open in an emergency. So Im giving this 2/5 because its very hot. You pay for what you get. You get a room and thats it, no other benefits.
