  Convenient location in busy area

  On the corner of a very busy & convenient area, you’ll find Hotel En tucked into the top of an alley filled with little hotels. We were on the 7th floor and didn’t hear any street noise with minimal noise from neighbors room.Our room is bigger than we thought and had experienced in two other hotels we stayed in last yr. Our twin beds were wide enough to be called full. No closet but a coat rack with 6 hangers (typical hotel closet) small fridge and we had a sofa and 2 chairs (a +) Full length mirror too. Daily towels, robes & slippers, Water and coffee. We stayed 5 nights and never a problem. The rooms were clean & tidy. I’d stay here again. The adjoining cafe was closed for remodeling.

  Doesn't Feel Like a Hotel But Still Decent Stay.

  The hotel structure itself is fine. Nothing special. It seemed like an apartment building to us rather than a hotel, and the experience/vibe was similar to staying in an apartment building. Not bad per se, but just sharing our overall opinion for those who are considering this property. Neither the building nor the decor lends itself to being a warm or tendy environment - more or less a building adapted to be a hotel but absent the design and decor to give a hotel feeling. The building has a small lobby equipped with a check-in desk and elevator. (Note on this same trip to Japan, I also stayed in another property in Tokyo and in a property in Kyoto, and, in comparison, I found the experience of the other properties to be that of a hotel guest experience.)With that said, though, both the property and our room were clean. The staff was very nice, friendly, and likable, but the property seems like a barren building of hotel rooms behind closed doors.Great location in Shibuya - one can walk to everything, but one late weekend night, we did hear people carousing outside for a few hours even though our room was about midway between the top and bottom floors. Shibuya is energy packed; the place does not slow down. I describe it as New York's Times Square on steroids. Personally, I prefer Shinjuku, which is still action-packed and offers plenty to do, but also offers an environment and vibe that allows one to recharge - at least it did for us. Where the proprietary can improve is locking the main door at night, and perhaps even during the day so that one can only unlock the door with his or her room keycard Anybody could have entered the lobby but probably could not go anywhere else as one needed the room keycard to ride the elevator to the rooms. And, not all times was the front desk staffed, particularly in the evening. (Maybe the staff member was in the back behind the curtain watching on a monitor, but I can't write this with certainty; I'm just speculating about a possibility. Note, though, there is a security camera in the lobby aimed at the hotel entrance.

  Fantastic location, so close to everything. 5 minute walk to Shibuya station. Family Mart & 711, just across the across the street. Coin laundry 2 minute walk. My daughter & I stayed in a twin room which was very spacious for Japanese room size. Definately recommend!!

  Very dirty room

  We are currently staying here, thankfully just for two nights in room 303. The walls are filthy and the carped is all stained with various staines. Absolutely disgusting. The only thing good about this hotel is the location. Would not recommend.
