    This was a very disappointing experience and not what I expected from this hotel.The laundry facilities were not functioning properly, I inserted ¥400 but stated ¥300 . When I reported it, there was no follow-up, no communication, and no resolution. I waited for quite some time and was eventually left to figure things out on my own. It got worse at breakfast. There were no staff present to greet or assist guests. We sat for a long time with zero service before finally leaving. Selling a “breakfast package” without actual service feels misleading.Overall, this reflects a serious lack of basic operations and guest care. Management should urgently address communication, staffing, and service standards. Unfortunately, this was a very poor start to my trip in Japan. By the way, they refunded ¥300 at the end, still owe me ¥100 from the machine. I think they need it.

    Located in Ueno, 5-7 mins by walk from the station. The zone is quite and calm. One important detail to note: the hotel’s location is incorrectly marked on Google Maps and Apple Maps. The main entrance is actually on the back street, which may cause some confusion upon arrival.Hotel is small, only one elevator and for 4 people at most. Very clean, professional staff as usual in Japan and facilities are clean. I'd recommended it for a solo travelers or couples looking a clean, affordable and quite place.

    I certainly would like to stay in Ueno area while visiting Tokyo. I consider this perfecture is very strategic to reach other area. A nice environment to rest. For Ueno Hotel, although it look well maintain but it couldn't cover the fact that it is an old hotel. Disregard of this condition, it was clean and the staffs were helpful and some were very kind and accomodating. The disappointing thing were that we were place in the inner room with no outside view but fortunately we were only back to the hotel late in the evening so it wasn't a big deal.

    After doing some research I found this hotel that was close to the station. It was a cozy hotel with very helpful staffs. They ask you about your stay and if you need anything. Even during such peak season they manage everything smoothly and serve good breakfast.

    The hotel location is very strategic. Nearby to FamilyMart and Lawson. Just a walking distance to the Ueno Train Station which connecting to JR line and also subway service. Here also we can visit Hard Rock Cafe Ueno and Rock Shop and other Malls and stores resides in the train station. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast to the room guests which are variety and tastes good. The hotel also have massage and laundry service in house.
