  Fantastic hotel in Tokyo

  What a fantastic hotel in Tokyo! It was reasonably priced, the room was spacious (by Tokyo standards), the bed was easily big enough for two people (we had some cramped beds in Japan) and staff were most helpful. Location was great - a 5 minute walk from Gotanda Station, which is on the JR Yamanote Line so you can get to Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza and Tokyo without any subway changes. Gotanda Station also gets you to/from Narita airport via the Asakusa Line with no changes. Osaki Station is also close if you arrive from the Mount Fuji area (trains from Odawara stop at Osaki). My wife said that the free toiletries were good quality (olive oil based). Thank you MyStays!   Ripoff. Booked online for 5 people and included ages. When we arrived we were told only bedding for 4. We had to purchase an extra room...at our cost. Madness. You cant allow booking then falsify accommodation. Stay away.   This hotel has a great location, very centric. It is just steps from the JR line station. Rooms are small but the hotel is in very googd shape and everything is very nit. Breakfast is good and the restaurant in the second floor serves good food but a bit expensive.   Cramped, but excellent value

  The rooms in this hotel are tiny. There is no wardrobe, only a small bar on the wall from which hang 8 coathangers. The bathroom is so small it’s a little difficult to move in – the toilet is set on an angle so you can sit on it without banging your knees on the wall and the toilet-paper holder! Nevertheless, the room boasts a TV, a safe, a small fridge, pairs of cups, glasses etc. Facilities were very clean, and toiletries were available in the bathroom, as well as downstairs at reception. Interestingly, only two teabags were provided, and we did not find out how to get more. We stayed for a week, and we were told at check-in that the cleaning staff would only come in once. We were given the option to select the day. The staff were super polite, friendly and helpful. They took phone messages for us and allowed us to use the telephone at the front desk at no extra cost. An iron and ironing board were provided on request.They have facilities to store baggage if you arrive prior to check-in time (3pm) or leave after check-out time (10am).The hotel is only a few blocks from Gotanda Station – a very convenient short walk. Plenty of restaurants, izakayas etc in the vicinity, as well as a supermarket next to the station.I would happily stay here again. Despite the size of the room, the location and value for money are excellent.

  Central Good Hotel in Tokyo Gotanda

  A good nice place to stay in the center of Tokyo. Gotanda offers a good connection thanks to the station and full of Izakaya where you can have a good Sake and some good food, at affordable prices.The rooms are small but clean and they offer a pijama really comfortable to wear and sleep to. Prepare yourself to be tidy, because if you are messy in those rooms you will have for sure problems.Sayonara!
