  The rooms are very comfortable, clean and cozy and the staff is really nice and attentive with whatever you need. The breakfast is free and delicious. You have to pay for dinner and there aren't many choices but there are plenty of restaurants very close.

  The hotel is old with physical use of key and old looking door but the room is comfortable and cozy. The hygiene of the room is very good and the provision of toiletries is fantastic. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is within walking disctance to two train stations and a bus terminal station. There are malls and interesting streets around.The breakfast is the same Japanese meal every morning, and if it adds a few more other international items, the whole stay in this hotel will be almost perfect.

  The staff went out of the way being helpful: they allowed us to shorten our seve ration and helped with a taxi the first day. From previous visits, I know Japanese hotel rooms are small. But the curtain, which didn’t open to a window, was dusty. And the pillow was like a brick.

  My wife and I stayed here for 17 days in November while I was working in nearby Nagatsuta. Our double room was compact by American standards, but not too small - by efficiently organizing our possessions we were able to get by quite comfortably. Our room, and the hotel as a whole, was quiet, extremely clean, and well-maintained. The wired in-room internet service was fast and reliable. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from two major rail stations (JR and Odakyu), enabling rapid transit to both downtown Tokyo and Yokohama, and the Machida central bus station, from where one can take a nonstop bus to Narita Airport. We would be happy to stay here again should the opportunity present itself.

  Compact and efficient

  The rooms at the Resol are really small but have everything you require for a short stay in Tokyo. The rooms are clean and my room was adequete for one person, no way it would be good for a couple. I stayed for a 3day conference and that is about as long as a person could reasonably tolerate such cramped quarters.The bathroom was tiny but reminded me of a boat's toilet area. Very efficient. The Japanese have the best toilets in the world and this room had tons of hot water.The hotel restaurant is not western food and the breakfast was poor. Very little variety, not suitable for a working day.Dinner was very good, Asian menu and the restauant staff had no English so understanding each other was difficult but not impossible. Great food.The wifi in the lobby was very fast and the single computer was generally free to use but there is no wifi in the rooms, not too great when you are trying to put together a report or compose e-mails. That is really the only drawback I found during my 4 day stay. The staff was very helpful and gave great directions/instructions for the mass transit system.
