  Great Hotel, Great Breakfast, Great Staff!!

  Stayed in March with my husband & friends. It is a 5-7 minute walk to the station. Many convenience stores around. Hotel has washing machines near lobby & one off site around the corner from hotel. Breakfast was amazing--Japanese & western options. Love the mochi, croissants, fish, meat options, salad, miso soup, even cereals. Too many yummy options. The breakfast staff was very nice & helpful and kept the food filled. The front desk staff are also very sweet and nice. It rained one day so you can ask to borrow umbrellas from the front desk. If you don't get your room cleaned, they give you water bottles and fresh towels. There is an onsen, separate for males and females. There are pillow options to choose from and PJ tops & bottoms right next to the elevator.The room with the double bed is small for 2 people but that is to be expected. You can put one large size luggage under the bed for storage.Overall, this hotel was the best!

  Stayed here in March with family. Front desk was always very helpful and pleasant and also spoke English. Upon check-in, females given two choices of a pack of face products. In the lobby, there was a money exchange machine, a kiosk to buy breakfast daily, laundry area near front desk, luggage storage, and essentials such as toothbrush, soap, etc. They also lend out umbrellas. You can also help yourself to drinks anytime and alcohol only in the evenings. The desk is open 7am - midnight.Near the 2 elevators, help yourself to pajamas which some guests use to also walk around and use for the onsen. You can exchange your pillow near the elevator too. You are only allowed one pillow in your room per person. If you don't want your room cleaned, you are given fresh towels, wash cloth, floor towel, toothbrush & toothpaste, and 2 bottled water daily. The breakfast area is on the 2nd floor. The staff there are so courteous and helpful. Many, many breakfast choices. Some items are changed daily. The miso soup, tofu, meat items, croissants, and there was always fish--are my favorites. The food was delicious! Thank you so much to the hard working staff who kept the food filled and the area clean.The walk to the Ikebukuro station is about 5-8 min. walk depending on how fast you walk. There are many convenience stores nearby and another 24 hour laundromat around the corner from the hotel. The staff at the hotel are extremely nice and always work hard to keep the area clean.Thank you for a great stay! arigato gozaimasu

  Exceeded my expectations, an excellent stay!

  Better than expected! From the moment I wheeled my luggage in the staff were professional and helpful. The place was clean and inviting, with free-to-use toiletry items, green tea, ion water, pajamas, a specialty pillow bar, alcoholic drinks bar, soda and mocktail machines, soup machines, wifi, and female/male separated communal baths. Bedroom is basic but has everything you need. Small clean bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, toothbrush, and other toiletries. Small tub and full Japanese toilet. I had a double room, and the floorspace is minimal, so not great if you have two people, or even one person with two large pieces of luggage. No closet for clothing, just a few hangers. No desk. Good aircon and humidifier. Fabulous pillows, mattress, and quilt. Very cheap laundry and dryer facilities to use. Excellent breakfast with Japanese and Western foods. Excellent location, less than 10 minutes from the station, no hills or stairs to climb once out of the station. Food, convenience stores, entertainment all nearby. Overall fantastic for the fair price. Would definitely go again and have recommended it to friends and family, with the caveat to bear in mind the minimal floorspace and overall typically smallish room sizes.

  Very average, the room was very small, we had trouble opening our two big sized luggage. The toilet was a one piece toilet which consisted of a plastic bath, a toilet and a sink which was linked with the shower, which means you can only open one at the time. However the mattress was pretty comfortable and the whole place was pretty clean which paid off the small room.

  The front desk staff at the hotel are incredibly rude.The hotel staff didn't even have masks on.It says that alcohol is served as a welcome drink, but in fact it is not. When I asked about it, they just said that it was not written.The room was being cleaned from 10:00 to 15:00, so we couldn't stay in the room even if we were staying for consecutive nights.The room was halfway cleaned and littered with garbage.The room was also very small.The water pressure in the toilet was so weak that the large toilet did not flush.The wifi was also very slow.The walls are thin and noisy, and you can hear conversations in other rooms.They say they have a breakfast buffet, but you have to pay an extra $15 for it.There is disgusting garbage floating in the large bathroom, probably from the customers' bodies.When I complained about this, the staff was very rude and told me to go to another hotel.The price does not match the service at all.There are a lot of hotels with cheaper prices, better service, and better mannered staff than this horrible hotel.I would recommend that you look for a different hotel if you are going to pay for your stay.
