A good stay but not excellent! Great location and comfortable.

My husband and I recently stayed for 4 nights in a Deluxe Corner King Room. Firstly, the hotel is in a great location, 5 minutes walk from Shimbashi station which has multiple JR lines, access to the Ginza and Asakusa subway lines and is 2 stops from Tokyo station. Shimbashi station is easily accessible from Haneda airport, take the Tokyo monorail to the end stop (Hamamatsucho) and then change to a JR line and Shimbashi is 1 stop away. The hotel is an easy walk into Ginza and the Tsukiji market. The lobby is located high up on the 19th floor, there is an easy lift access from ground/street level. Our room (#2306) was on the 23rd floor. First impressions were that the room did not at all seem as large as advertised on the website (supposedly 31sqm). The room was overall clean but not as clean as expected, there were some stains on the wallpaper of the bathroom area (looked as if someone had thrown a brown liquid into the bin and had splattered on the wall instead) and scuff marks on other areas. Shower and toilet were very clean and bedding was clean. We appreciated the extra bag rack and were easily able to have 2 larger suitcases accessible and open at all times. There was an actual wardrobe (unusual for Japan hotels!) and there were drawers available for storage. Water was provided, there is no minibar but a guest lounge is available providing tea/coffee/other drinks. There is also a Family Mart on floor 2 of the building, open until 11pm. It took us a while to figure out that opening the curtains in the room required the use of the tablet/device on the bedside table, instructions for this were not clearly provided but it was OK to use once we realised. We had no issues at all with sound proofing in the room and were not bothered by train noise at all. To the north of the hotel there is currently a large building being constructed which we looked out on, however there was no noise from this at all. Curtains were complete blockout and the room was nicely dark for sleeping. The bed was firm as expected but was probably the softest one we experienced in Japan. We did not have breakfast included or eat at the hotel so cannot comment on this. The lobby area is large and spacious with huge windows providing an impressive view to the south of the hotel with Tokyo tower visible. All rooms of the hotel are on high floors and all have a great view regardless of position. I would stay again given the good location and access to Shimbashi station, but am unsure if the extra spend on the corner room was worth it.

The room needs a refresh and deep cleaning. Walls were dirty. And need to be cleaned. Bedding was dirty and probably not changed from the previous guest. Housekeeping needs more oversight to ensure rooms are getting cleaned. Room was small and no space for suitcase. Book a larger class room so you have more space if you are booking this hotel.

    Great hotel with one flaw.

Great location for someone who's done Shinjuku/Shibuya/Asakusa and is looking for somewhere a little quieter but well connected. About 15 minute walk to Ginza, and less than 5 minutes to Shimbashi. The Imperial Palace is about 15 mins walk away. The bathroom was a good size with a separate shower room with a tub.The large picture windows in each room had great views over the Imperial Palace gardens or towards Tokyo Tower. The best feature is the lobby on the 17th floor with floor to ceiling windows providing amazing views.Tokyo hotel rooms are small by most standards, often not much bigger than the bed. While the rooms at The Blossom are big enough, the small size makes the design of the room more important and most critical is how storage is managed. In this case there's simply not enough storage. The robe would barely fit a few shirts and coat, the bedside tables barely holds an iPad and much of the small shelf and top of the fridge cabinet house hotel paraphernalia already. There's nowhere to store a suitcase (or two if traveling as a couple), meaning that luggage is constantly in the way.A couple of hooks in the entryway and bathroom, room under the bed for suitcases,, an extra shelf somewhere in the room would go a long way towards decluttering the room and making the stay more enjoyable. If this was done this would elevate a good stay to an excellent one.

    Great hotel in Tokyo

    rating31 Jan 2026

Very nice hotel. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Great location for Tokyo near the train/metro. Hotel had great views. Glad I stayed here for my 8 night visit. Breakfast buffet was my only disappointment, food was cold and had to ask for scrambled eggs ( at first said I couldn’t have any and then made me some). Only ate there once because of not being satisfied. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Would stay again.
