    Excellent hotel; amazing staff and service beyond your expectations; excellent location to centre Tokyo attractions; staff are very accommodating and pleasant; excellent breakfast included in our room rate . I’d recommend the Premier Grand suites which are floors above 35 and benefit the free afternoon tea service on a higher floor , which is perfect for after an outdoor activity. Beautiful breakfast room with floor to ceiling glass windows. We had a spectacular light show across the street opposite our room at the Huge Government Building . Most respectful staff and extremely clean and modern. The most comfortable Queen sized beds -2- in our Premier suite was perfect for family.

    The Gate is a great hotel. We stayed there for 4 nights, once on arrival in Tokyo and 3 nights on our return during a 3 week trip. It is really centrally located and very convenient. The staff are superb, there are great cocktails and the breakfast is superb. Special mention to Gotcha, the Japanese travel agency who helped put together a brilliant 3 week trip in journey; we really went off the track somewhat, hired cars, visited several islands. We were self guided mainly - and The Gotcha team made this really work for us. They work in conjunction with Cox and Kings, UK too.

    Great hotel in a beautiful upscale neighborhood!

    Great location in the Ginza neighborhood. Lots of great restaurants, shopping and subways/trains are all within walking distance as well as the Imperial Palace Gardens. The hotel lobby was modern, but elegant with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating with nice jazz music playing in the background. Great place to relax with a beer after a busy day. The rooms are small, but nice. Comfortable beds with luxury bedding, nice Japanese PJs, and a great shower. Their restaurant is very nice with a great city view, though we didn’t have breakfast there, we did enjoy a 3-course lunch that was very nice. Plus, the service at the hotel and restaurant was top-notch. Also, though the hotel is in the middle of a very busy area, it was quiet and relaxing and walking the neighborhood at night felt very safe. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Tokyo.

    Really good hotel in the Ginza District right next to a subway station. Whole area is vibrant and busy. Excellent rooms and extremely lovely staff. Really good breakfast.

    Wonderful hotel in a great location

    This hotel is superbly located only steps from the Giza subway station in the heart of the bustling Ginza district. We were especially impressed by the large bathroom with superb amenenties, and the room itself was surprisingly spacious. The included breakfast was great, with plenty of fruit (unusual in Japan) and other “western” choices. The staff was great and the bar had very reasonable prices and good service.
