    This was my third stay here since 2019, and it never disappoints. The location is excellent, with plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment options nearby, and it is very well connected to the wider public transport network.The rooms are compact, as you would expect in Tokyo, but they are stylish, clean, and thoughtfully appointed. Depending on when you book, this hotel can offer excellent value for money.The rooms are also wonderfully quiet and well insulated, with no street noise at all, which makes for a very comfortable stay.What truly sets this hotel apart is the service.     This hotel was truly outstanding! We stayed here in November 2025—just before our family decided to relocate to Japan—during a two-week trip my husband and I took to tour various parts of the country. Although I am a bit late in writing this review, our final night in Tokyo was an absolutely magical and wonderful experience. We chose this hotel not only because the rates were affordable, but also because the service was simply incredible! We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.     Hotel has a good location, close to the subway and lots of restaurants and shops. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We liked the onsen. It was a really good value for a hotel in Ginza.     They left my door open and refused to take responsibility"

    I need to share what happened during my recent stay at Square Hotel GINZA, because it's honestly been pretty shocking how they've handled this whole situation.On October 12th, housekeeping cleaned my room but left the door completely unsecured and open afterward. This isn't just my word against theirs — there's camera footage and photos proving it. Later that day, I noticed my locked jewelry box was gone from the room, along with everything inside it.I told the hotel right away and they called the police. Three officers came, searched through my room and luggage, and confirmed the items were missing. They gave me a Loss Report Certificate first, which they later upgraded to an actual Crime Report (Case No. 4-402).Here's the part that really gets me. Even with:* Police reports and an official case number* Photo evidence of my door being left open* The hotel's own written confirmation that housekeeping had been in my room...they still refused to sign an Incident Report. Their official stance? Because they "didn't personally see the items," they couldn't verify anything was lost or what it was worth.Basically, their position is unless someone shows up on camera stealing something, they're not responsible — even when their own staff left my room wide open. That's a pretty disturbing attitude when it comes to guest safety.Look, I wasn't expecting them to cut me a check on the spot. But I did expect some basic cooperation and acknowledgment that something went wrong. Instead, I got nothing.If you're planning to stay here, please be really careful with anything valuable. Based on my experience, if something goes wrong, they're more focused on avoiding liability than actually helping you.
