So close to being a great hotel . . .

    rating21 Feb 2026

It's so close to being a great hotel, but there were too many frustrations at the hotel to give it anything more than 3 stars. Depending on what you are looking for, and the time of year, you might rate it much higher.First, the positives: - the room was large for a Tokyo hotel- Room was quiet, and it had a good workdesk and seating area. - Breakfast was excellent (but see comment below).- Tokyo Dome plaza to the north is attractive, and has many options for meals. Then the negatives:- Front desk was slow. They were simply overwhelmed with people coming in (understaffing? the staff seemed efficient).- The elevators were always crowded except during very quiet periods. Usually I had to wait for at least the next elevator, and often for two elevators, before being able to get on. - The breakfast area had huge lineups by a normal breakfast time. I ended up going down before 7 AM in order to beat the rush - not something that is normal on vacation, but it was the only way to avoid waiting 30 minutes for a table. - Despite some of the comments in other reviews, access to public transit is not actually all that great. It's about 300 m to the nearest subway station and 500 m from the nearest train station (not terrible), but you will almost certainly have to make at least one subway or train change to get to any of the tourist attractions except for Akihabara; the Chuo line at the Suidobashi station is not particularly useful for tourists. A hotel near the circular JR train line would be much more useful. This is clearly a hotel that tour companies love; I was here because of a tour. For tours, easy access by buses is a priority, and this hotel fits into that agenda very nicely. Also the tour companies need plenty of available rooms, and this hotel certainly has that. However, I have stayed in other hotels in Tokyo and area as an individual tourist that were less crowded, and far more convenient for public transit. I think for an individual tourist or small group, there are better options. If you happen to be staying here during a quiet period when the hotel is less crowded, and you're not using public transit a great deal, you'll rate it much higher.

Perfect hotel to stay for attending Tokyo Dome events

    rating22 Jan 2026

Stayed there for a weekend concert at the Tokyo Dome. It was the perfect location as you can be there all day and participate in all the pre-concert commotion. Plaza has a number of restaurants and a food court with many stalls selling different cuisines. Train station is right outside and takes you all over Tokyo. Room amenities are great as they give you lots of stuff like a typical Japanese hotel. Only thing oddly missing are empty drawers for your travel clothes. Also missing is a microwave, but do know there is an electric kettle that you can use to boil water for the instant ramen that you get from the convenient store. On the other hand, the bathroom is roomy and has excellent facilities plus lotion/creams and skin care products. Right inside the hotel is a 7-Eleven type convenient store that has an ATM and very good prepared meals. Hotel also has inexpensive shuttle service to the Haneda Airport, which I didn’t use as I wanted to arrive at the airport couple hours early to checkout the tax free shops. Hotel offers an excellent buffet restaurant. While the selection is not as great as say the Las Vegas Bacchanal the food quality is so much better and for half the cost. Finally, if you find that booking at the hotel website shows that your dates are not available, try one of the third party booking websites. I am giving this four stars instead of five for the oddly missing empty drawers, no iron for your out of the suitcase wrinkled clothes, lack of a microwave and Naspresso machine. Perhaps it is just a Japanese thing but those are what western travelers are used to.

    Fantastic stay at Executive room

    rating02 Jan 2026

Yet another fantastic stay at our favourite hotel in Tokyo! Our first stay was in January 2025, and our second stay was in December 2025. Both times we stayed in the Executive floors. The rooms are beautiful, the views spectacular. The service is super-friendly and accomodating. As it is less busy than other lounges, the staff are present and make you feel like home. Compared with other hotels in Tokyo, like Hilton, Hyatt Regency and Marriot, Tokyo Dome has a more quiet and exclusive vibe at the Executive lounge. In addition to the sober style and lovely staff, the opening hours for Cocktails and nibbles are fantastic! (from 5 pm to 21 pm). A great stay after a busy day in the hustle and bustle of downtown Tokyo. A great recommondation for people travelling alone, as well as for couples!

The only place to stay when you visit Tokyo

    rating08 Dec 2025

Outstanding facility. Large rooms and immaculate view from your room. Staff are extremely helpful and responsive to any needs you might have. When I return to Japan this is the only hotel I would consider.

    Absolutely Beautiful Hotel

    rating05 Nov 2025

We stayed on level 41 in an executive suite. The rooms are amazing and have everything you need including pajamas, toiletries, tea coffee etc. All drinks in the mini bar are free (only have to pay for spirits outside of fridge. Rooms are immaculately cleaned and the room service and cleaning is five star!. Business class type lounge is included where food and drinks (including alcohol) is all supplied at no extra cost. Train station is very close which gives easy access to the whole city (if you can decipher the signs - translate app recommended!) We will definitely return.
