  Average stay, good location and washing machine

  We stayed 4 nights, booked for the location and washing machine + dryer in the room. These two points were the best of the stay. Would not order breakfast again - is not bad, although frozen and needed to be heated in the room’s microwave. We were sad as there are so many other lovely spots around the hotel to grab something fresh in the morning, but not everything needs to be perfect. AC is a bit louder, overall comfortable normal stay. Helpful and kind receptionists. Our luggage arrived and waited for us in our room, appreciated.

  What a fantastic, understated hotel located in a quieter part of the NishiShinjuku area. TokyoStay is within walking distance to busier parts of Shinjuku and public transport. The Airport Limousine Bus stops at the nearby Hilton Hotel Shinjuku, which is convenient to and from the airports and will save you some money. Speaking of saving money, the hotel rate is very affordable and they offer you free toiletries at check-in and provide a self-serve complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby. Breakfast is offered, but for an extra fee. For a quick meal, McDonalds is next door, Starbucks is on the same street, closer to the Hilton, 7/11 and Family Mart are down the block from the hotel. There is a lovely shrine and park across the street. The hotel room was cozy, warm and newly renovated. The amenities are modern and the room was spotlessly clean. The style was a mix of Japanese and Scandinavian, simple and elegant. The staff was friendly and spoke English and Japanese fluently. I had a relaxing time and it was nice arriving from my long day tours to this lovely hotel. If you are searching for a hotel that is efficient, clean, orderly with a kind staff, you will be very happy staying here during your trip.

  Tokyu Stay Ginza

  First time in Japan. We stayed for 2 nights. Location was good, still trying to get to know the area, so we weren't aware where all the entry points to the train stations were. Great Hotel as first timers. Very clean, a little on the small side but that was ok, we literally stayed to sleep at night as the day was for exploring beautiful Ginza and surrounds. The bed is a little hard for me, but with all the walking you really don't notice it as you will be so exhausted by the time you go to sleep. I defiantly would stay here again.

  Indian Folks Welcome Here

  Hello My Vegetarian Indian Folks , I stayed here for 7 nights and the only good thing about this place is just a lane behind is Cochin Nivas , a restaurant run by rawat brothers from uttarakhand , the food is super duper delicious and they prepare it pure veg. Just adjacent to those hotel is 7 eleven and many other departmental stored which are within 40 steps . 7 mins walk will get you to one metro line and 30 steps will get you another to connect you to the whole of tokyo very conveniently, please please make sure to BrainMap the train lines and their stations before coming to tokyo or else you are going to be paralysed. Well now coming to this hotel , its very very small as i had booked the best room assuming it would be very big but it makes barely some space for even two people. Staff is 5/5 , location is 5/5 , very neat , very responsive and close by from whatever we Indians need . Please note that breakfast for pure vegetarian could only be kellogs , roasted dry fruits . They dont have toasted bread or anything else so be careful or download ubereats.

  Family rooms near subway station and park

  Two adults two teens stayed in a Quad room (2 singles, teens on bench seating) in Jan 2025 for 4 nights. To make the compact room work with kids sleeping on the benches we pushed the dining table to the foot of the single beds, made it much more spacious. Hotel feels new and immaculately clean. We had our own washer dryer in our bathroom, so convenient! Dryer works fine if don't overload machine (about half full). Hotel is short walk from Nishi Shinjuku Gochome subway station on Oedo Line. We got lost in Shinjuku Station EVERY TIME we were in there so eventually avoided it and used subway to change stations literally anywhere else. Subway is frequent, fast and so convenient. We opted not to get hotel breakfast (limited packaged options that you take back to your room?) and instead ate breakfast at Denny's overlooking Chuo Park every morning - cheap and tasty with heaps of options. Hotel walkable to the park and Metropolitan Government Building. Front desk staff had limited English but very polite. Luggage forwarding to hotels or airport by "Airporter" service booked and paid online (not at front desk) then just leave luggage at front desk. Worked great, picked up at Narita airport. We enjoyed this hotel and convenience of subway station so close and would happily stay here again.
