Location

This hotel is picturesquely situated directly on the private beach on the Gulf of Aqaba. The centre of Aqaba is only a 15-minutes walk away, where guests will find various shops and leisure options.

    We asked for an upgrade because the roomwas very small for 3 persons and was noisy (dormir in front of the road). We went to a suite, which was very big but the quality of the room was not as expected. It definitely needs a refresh. The spa was closed, not enough towels despite the low number of customers, not enough umbrella. A lot of children on the pool restricted to adults, jumping on the bed and the pool. Service was ok but not fantastic. It is definitely not what we expect from a five stars hotel and it gives the impression that there’s no captain on the boat.     Checked into this hotel with my friend and we went straight to the beach. When we came back to the room my friend noticed that there was money taken from 2 separate compartments in her bag. We notified management and the way they handled the situation was nothing short of disgusting. I have never experienced anything like this. We were sat in reception for over two and a half hours, 6 men surrounding us and interogating my friend. They finally admitted that a member of their staff had used their key card to enter our room within minutes of us leaving the room and he had no reason to do so.They advised that night that they would do further investigation and the next day my friend was again askednthe same questions over ans over again and after all that they advised that they found no irregularities and took no accountability. I havd never felt so unsafe in a hotel as i did there.Jordan is a beautiful country, and we stayed in 4 other hotels during our time there with zero issues, you can get robbed anywhere you go, however it was the way this hotel handled the situation that made a horrible experience worse.     Looks are deceiving - do not stay here.

    Would not stay here again. We were travelling around Jordan, this was our 4th hotel and only one where we got an uneasy feeling in. Initial impressions were that it was fabulous however -Our room was filthy - there was a big wad of chewing gum stuck on the inside of the shower wall, and a big dirty boot print on the bedroom wall with a dead mosquito still stuck in it. Windows covered in handprints. Wish I'd taken more photos. Breakfast was terrible - it was cold, a big selection of food, but the quality was not good. I also waited 40 minutes for 2 drinks. The bar man took my order and said he would drop it down, but then kept serving other people at the bar. Had to go back up twice, in the end our drinks were just left sitting on the bar.The worst of it however was that members of our group had money stolen from their room, within an hour of checking in, by a member of staff. The hotel management acknowledged that a staff members key card had been used to enter the room after check in - but still, took no accountability, I don't understand this? It was handled horribly.Jordan is a beautiful country, you can get robbed anywhere you go, however it was the way this hotel handled the situation that made a horrible experience worse. Avoid.
