    Bad / non-challant attitude from cleaner.

    I stayed at the hotel from April 5th to 9th, my room was only cleaned once and that was on the 7th, I had to practically beg the cleaning guy to do it. I was leaving the hotel at about 1pm and met him cleaning other empty rooms, I went in there and asked him if he could clean mine politely, I got back to the hotel around 4pm and it wasn’t done, after insisting, he went in and just changed the beddings and emptied the bin. He didn’t brush or vacuum the floor. Particle of dirts laid around. I tried drawing his attention to it and he just walked away, he didn’t even was the toilet. And that was the last cleaning I got till I left on the 9th.     Short stay, good as a 'close to the airport' hotel

    Stayed here for just 1 night in mid December ahead of an early morning flight out of Riga Airport. The location of the hotel is good for being in-between the Old Town and the airport. It only took us a few minutes in an Uber to get to the airport, and a few minutes in a taxi to get to Old Town to grab some dinner. We had a standard room (#809), which was tiny and located close to the elevator, but it was functional and clean. Found the walls to be very thin, i.e. we could hear tv or radio throughout the night. The check-in and check-out were quick and the staff were very friendly. Some taxi drivers are confused by access to the hotel, so in one case they wouldn’t pick us up from the front door, but instead we had to walk down a set of stairs to a lower level street to find our driver. We also found the place to be popular with party goers, i.e. plenty of people returning from a night out while we were waiting for the airport ride at 5AM. Overall it was a rather good choice for a “close to airport” hotel.
