Location

The elegant, luxury hotel is superbly located in the centre of Riga with a magnificent view of parkland. It takes just a few minutes walk to reach the business district and the lively shopping areas. The airport is 10 km from the hotel.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 587 non-smoking rooms, including 32 suites and 551 double rooms, located in a 27-storey main building and a 5-storey auxiliary building. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a car hire service, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Guests can taking a refreshing dip or just relax in the pool complex, which includes indoor and outdoor areas. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and tennis are available. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym and aerobics. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon, massage treatments, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium. Leisure facilities include live music, a dance club, a casino and a nightclub.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. A number of specialities await guests in the air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurant. Half board is offered as a catering option. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests serve themseves at the buffet or choose their preferred fare from the menu (for lunch and dinner). Diet meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. Alcoholic beverages are available.

    Location s pretty good to visit the town and an upper floor would help in terms of views. White nights also offer a treat in this respect. Rooms are comfortable but nothing special. A minus for instant coffee which I find lousy for 2026. Comfy beds, too green pressure of the shower and minimalistic amenities. Breakfast is nice and pretty comprehensive minus decaf coffee.

    Minus:The "5-star" spa was a joke; it was far too crowded and not very well maintained. I am so glad it was included as a free perk with my RR VIP status, because I wouldn't have paid one euro for it. The breakfast was also way too crowded at times, though it was a lot quieter in the members section of the breakfast area. Additionally, the reception can be super slow at times, and there was not much storage space in the room.Plus:I got a really nice upgrade to a renovated room on a high floor, which offered an exceptional view over Riga. The bathroom was nice, and the bed was great. I also received a welcome gift and a card, which was highly appreciated. Furthermore, the room had a great heater that made it warm and comfortable.     The room was very clean; the staff wete all professional from reception to bar to breakfast. Breakfast buffett was exceptional. Location was great. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 is the bath was small and so were the pillows.
