    The hotel is very clean and premises are in good shape. The price was very affordable.     Very poor experience – service did not match the booking, forced extra charge, no accountability

    Unfortunately, our experience with Barception Comfort Hotel Vilnius was extremely disappointing.As an organization, we booked a double/twin room with two separate beds for our guest – an official sports referee. Upon arrival, it turned out that the guest was accommodated in a single room, despite the fact that a double room had been clearly booked and confirmed.What made the situation even worse was that the hotel required an additional charge for the second person, solely because during the booking process only one guest name was entered, even though the room type itself was double and designed for two people. In other words, the extra fee was applied not because of the actual service provided, but due to a formal booking detail, which was then used to justify additional charges.We attempted to resolve the situation multiple times by phone and in writing, speaking with several different members of the staff. However, everyone repeated the same scripted response about “internal rules”, with no effort to understand the situation or find a fair solution.Despite the clear mismatch between the booked room and the service actually provided, no compensation was offered, not even a symbolic one.As a result, we, as a club, were placed in a very uncomfortable position in front of our guest, which is especially unacceptable when hosting a professional invited to work.👉 I would only recommend this hotel to those who are willing to accept “internal rules” even when they override common sense and basic customer expectations. If clarity, fairness, and respect for confirmed bookings matter to you, I would strongly suggest choosing another hotel.
