this resort was older than you might imagined if you only refer to pictures provided. you should walk in to this resort for cheaper price. and one thing for sure, you can ask for student price. its a good choice if you come in a group. this resort located far from Cenang Beach.

Very Nice and Quaint Hotel Staff were also extremely friendly and Prompt.Big and Clean Rooms with an extra big Bathroom, though the room had passed its Prime, but, wasn't a botheration to us.Complimentary breakfast was disappointing.Big thankyou to all the Staff form making our stay extremely comfortable.

    Unexpected

    rating14 Dec 2015

We chose Twin Peaks as we had budget constraint. It costs around RM101 per night if you book from Agoda. The pool attracted us as we could go for a dip instead of heading all the way to Chenang beach. Staff is okay, nothing much. We requested for a late check out as we had to go somewhere else and was afraid we might be back late. The staff allowed us to do so! At least, the time is negotiable! =) Room was out of my expectation, quite cozy! Air conditioner was slow but functioning. Bathroom is spacious! Our room is right beside the pool. So mind you, it may be a lil noisy in the morning as kids will play at the pool. The room is indeed old but it is acceptable as long as everything is functioning well.Complimentary breakfast is disappointing. They prepared fried rice, fried kuey teow, sliced green apples, white bread, milk, kokocrunch, Malay kuih, coffee & tea, strawberry jam & butter. We had fried rice, tasteless. White bread but no toaster. Well, you can eat it soft but I believe we like the bread toasted, right!? Malay kuih tastes nice btw! You may want to have additional breakfast if you are not satisfied with Twin Peaks'.

    Seen better days but.......

We saw images before we booked so we were not disappointed. The rooms and furniture are tired but adequate, great aircon so constantly cool.Breakfast was not buffet style unless there were enough guests to make it worthwhile.Staff very friendly, English is limited but this does not prevent them from trying their utmost to help.Majority of guests are Muslim (or were whilst we were staying), respect their rules and don't wear tight or revealing swim wear. And be prepared for the early call to prayer, there is a mosque close by

    Affordable

The staff are very friendly and nice. But I'm not satisfied with the room. It was dark, and some of the lamp was not well functioning. For a room that less than RM 90, I think it worth the money. In future I hope the resort to be more concerned about this matter especially when its holiday season.
