    DeGalleria was ideal for what I needed as a solo traveller. The room was very clean, lovely staff, good airconditioning and excellent wifi. Fantastic location. Only downside was no hot water and no window in the room.

    We booked this place after our Mt Kinabalu hike and booked a family room ( 1 queen bed and 1 single bed ). There were only 2 towels for a room that is for 3 people, and we requested another 1. The single bed in the room was not provided with blanket. We called reception and they casually said that they do not provide bedding and blanket for the additional bed. We went downstairs and inquired further, but the reception staffs were very rude and demanded that we pay RM25 to 'rent' a blanket which was supposed to rightfully be in the room.We asked to meet with the hotel manager but they told us he was not available. On principle it does not matter the type of hotel it is, I believe the way you treat your customers will go a long way in ensuring the customer comes back, Regardless of the amenities around the area and no matter how central this place was, we won't be going back.

    Room was clean, comfortable and in good location, was small but to be expected from the price range. The big disappointment from this hotel was the WiFi, it was terrible (5th floor), we were glad we only booked one night for this reason.If WiFi is not an issue for you then this hotel is fine for a budget option.

    Located along the same street as the daily night market, this hotel is a budget hotel, suitable for back packers. Having said that, if you're seeking for comfort, perhaps not the best choice. The room I got is a deluxe twin - very small toilet (i struggled to change in the toilet). Sound isolation isn't at its best too, as i can hear guest walking down the aisle and opening their doors at night. Receptionist is helpful though :) In simple words, you get what you paid for, and dont think you should expect too much from what you pay for.

    The room was facing the main road. Rooms size small. Many local food outlets nearby. taxis and night market nearby. somewhat quiet area. friendly staff. walking distance to waterfront. only one elevator. value for money if you are on a tight budget
