    Beautiful hotel with amazing breakfast

    rating24 Dec 2025

We stayed here Christmas Eve so we could make a Santa visit to our grandchildren’s house at midnight without having to make a long drive back to our house and then return Christmas afternoon. The hotel has been recently remodeled. We met several staff members during our stay, and all were very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking. The lobby was nicely decorated and comfortable with a welcoming fireplace. The breakfast area was huge with the most beautiful and varied food items I’ve ever encountered in a hotel. Two kinds of waffles, hard boiled eggs, fresh and cut up fruits, a small assortment of breakfast breads, cereal, eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and tortillas with all the fixing to use with the eggs, four kinds of juices in beautiful carafes, most amazingly: cups of delicious Chia pudding, and overnight oatmeal with a variety of nuts and non-nut toppings. The coffee was also excellent. The footprint of the hotel is huge, so if you choose your room in advance, I’d recommend selecting one near the elevator closest to the lobby. We got the least expensive type of room. It was compact but not crowded, and all areas are within sight of the bed. It had a full-size refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, sink, and a selection of dishes. There was a small table and chairs as well as a sofa and coffee table. There were two large windows and the king bed and linens and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom is divided into two sections; a separate room with a door held the toilet and walk-in shower and the other part had a spacious sink/vanity with excellent lighting. The closet was also in that area. This vanity area is located at the foot of the bed and there is no door. My husband stays up later than I do, so I use a sleep mask. We really enjoyed the hotel and would gladly stay here again.

    Very disappointed

    rating16 Nov 2025

Very Disappointed. Shower door was broken and black bits of something(?) washed into shower floor when showering. Whatever that is at the base of commode is disgusting.I would not fault maintenance or housekeeping, rather, this appears to be a lack of attention on the part of the owners. Will not return.

    Wonderful staff

    rating27 Sept 2025

Stayed here 9 nights while visiting family. The room was comfortable and clean. Jack, Suzanne and Samantha were wonderful and attended to our needs. Stayed in newly renovated room. Only downside they were renovating laundry area so could not do any wash.

Great for extender stays as well as short term stays!

    rating13 Sept 2025

I’ve been a long-term guest at the Homewood Suites in Newtown, PA, and I can’t say enough about how wonderful this hotel and team are. Staying here feels less like a hotel stay and more like being part of a community that genuinely cares about its guests. From the start, Suzanne, the General Manager, and Tabitha Burger, the Sales Manager, set the tone with their warm leadership. They are very visible, approachable, and always checking in to make sure guests are comfortable. Jack, the Assistant GM, is just as attentive, stepping in whenever needed and always making sure everything runs smoothly. The front desk team is fantastic—Nancy, Luke, and Brooke are the heartbeat of the lobby. They welcome me by name every time I come in, always offering a smile, a quick chat, or help with whatever I might need. They even looked forward to visits from my dog, Jed, who quickly became a favorite among the staff. Everyone treated him like family, which meant the world to us.Housekeeping has been just as impressive. Sary, the Housekeeping Supervisor, leads her team with such pride. My suite has always been spotless, and the attention to detail makes all the difference when you’re staying for an extended period. Samantha and the staff helping with breakfast always did a great job. This property goes above and beyond in every way, from the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms to the warmth of the staff. After many months here, I can honestly say that the Homewood Suites Newtown isn’t just where I stay—it’s where I feel at home (and where Jed felt right at home too!).

Average hotel nice pool and hot tub and breakfast was good. Needs little cleaning and better upgrades but nice overall.

    rating13 Aug 2025

Good size room could use a little better cleaning and upgrading. The lobby is nice place to hang out but felt dirty at times. No more free coffee all day or water in the lobby. They said when it's finished after breakfast that's it. Would have been nice to have a cup of coffee especially for the price of the rooms. But overall decent hotel. Nicest in the area especially with a kitchen. Receptionist female during the day was the nicest and friendliest person there.
