  Wonderful memories

  Been staying this hotel for the last 10 years . We families and my parents come back every year hooking this hotel. They has been a lot improvement over the management , cleanliness , staffing , facilities . The only one thing is poor wifi connection in the 3rd floor from the rooms. We likes the connecting rooms and family rooms with big window that you can see the town and mountains. Bathroom and water pressure is excellent. We love this place our families.

  I am writing this review without using the hotel wifi, as the connection is weak and keeps breaking. This is a "no-go" for any hotel these days, as most devices need internet connection to work. Buy your own mobile plan if you wish to stay in the hotel. The location of the hotel is good if you have relatives staying in Ipoh Garden. It is a small, no-frills hotel.

  Bad service, no sense of manager managing hotel.

  my first stay on 1 dec into Deluxe room,everything went smooth during check in and staff mention my request room with window are ready.i choose to i revisit on 16 Dec with same room type booking and same request i stated during my booking, but thing go wrong this time. Staff pass me the key during i check in and i did ask if room is come with window. Staff said is not and i have to show my previous stay is with window.She called to her manager and after their conversation, she mention : all Deluxe room is without window and explain additional charge for window. I do explain on my previous stay again and i require the same room again. She mention cant make decision and get me to call the manager. Without giving me a phone but asked me to use my own mobile to call in their hotel line, then she pass the line to her manager. ( this is the most ridicules and stupid i ever seen) After waiting for the manager come down from office and said all deluxe room is without window. we do need to pay extra for that (she been repeating the same what she told the staff earlier). I am so upset and told her from beginning again for 3rd time on my previous experience. The manager insist deluxe room is without window and from previous record we had been upgrade without charges, hence this stay we do need to pay extra with i wast get inform. i even show the additional request written during my booking and why not hotel call or email guest on their request. She just answer "NO"

  Good location, nice decor, but....

  First criteria of choosing this hotel is location, which is really good and easy access. Located at the roundabout in Ipoh garden, commercial area.It is a small hotel, check in took some time, and allow early check in. Maybe available room is ready. Need the keycard to access to the room floor, which is located on the second floor, and the only floor where the rooms are.The decor looks grand for a small hotel.However the assigned room do not have windows and small. Since it is just a 2 nights stay, it is okay. But not for longer stay.The bed is okay, comfortable enough. TV channels are limited. Internet connection is terrible and slow inside the room. Go out to the lobby near the lift, the connection is a little better, but still slow.Friend tried to call me on the phone, but could not get through until walked out to the lobby near the lift and found out missed call messages keep flowing in.The furniture in the room is deteriorating and breaking.Hot and cold water flow is strong enough.As they are located at Ipoh Garden's commercial area, eateries are close by, as the hotel do not have dining nor a coffee shop.For location and short stay this hotel is good.Hotel parking is at the side of the building. Parking spaces right in front of the hotel belongs to the city council and need use parking ticket.

  Very reasonably priced,comfortable, clean and walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Good airconditioner and wifi. Friendly reception staff. Room has tea/coffee making facility and hair drier. Good TV reception.
