    Budget hotel during CNY

    Popular boutique hotel for tourists and Chinese New Year visitors from afar. Some distance (16km) from Meru Coach terminal and not within walking distance of most eateries/foodcourts. Quiet surroundings offer a good night's sleep. Internet is inconsistent with off-on status. Basic coffee/tea and toilet amenities provided. Ironing set with board available on request. No safe available for valuables but fridge is there.

    Large clean room with a nice view at the higher floors.This is walking distance from the new town and old town area.Rooms are clean and I got a large bed :)Has a large table, a large wardrobe, aircon/bed is comfortable

    Room was clean and tidy, bathroom was a little small, with shower curtain separating it and toilet and sink. Sufficient parking, and customer service contactable through whatsapp, making it easier to communicate. Already booked another date to go back with family.

    One of the few decent places left to book for the peak Chinese New Year period in Ipoh, realized that I stayed here before many years ago. Because of the high occupancy, there were insufficient car park in front of the hotel and we had to park outside the hotel compound along the road.Before our stay, the hotel emailed to inform that their water heating system was undergoing maintenance and there would be no hot water during our stay. Great timing… at least they did offer to accept cancellation or change of date. As the weather was rather hot, we did manage to survive with cold showers.The hotel seemed well-maintained, except the corridors - those do need some brush up. The room was spacious, despite having an extra bed. Room was basic and no frills, but they do have daily housekeeping which is good, unlike some hotels that used the pandemic as a reason for not providing the same.Centrally located in downtown Ipoh, pretty much everywhere in town is just a short drive away. However, there are not much in terms of convenience store or eateries in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, so you’ll need transport or brave enough for a long-ish walk.Considering the peak season, this was still an acceptable stay.

    The rooms are all nice and clean. Been there while organized a trip with school. The customer service there is good, constantly contact us to confirm our arrival information. nice tall building and provides a big parking space! The only bad thing could be the breakfast, limited choice to consume. Have your breakfast at the town if you mind.
