  Worst Hotel I stay in my life

  Checked in the Z Hotel, noticed that the mirror of the room was cracked and the condition of the room was very bad. I requested to change to another room, but the staff of Z Hotel told me that their hotel was fully booked. Hence, I requested to change another better room next day after viewed a few available rooms in Z Hotel. All rooms are in bad condition, I just chose a better one.I was informed by Z Hotel's staff that the hotel’s electricity will be cut off from 9pm on to 2am for maintenance by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) only a day before and less than 24 hours. Since the notice dated about 2 weeks before , I think that the hotel should highlight to me on day one because my booking will be affected. This is worst hotel I stay in my life. Please don’t stay in this hotel. Not worth for money..

  The restaurant had the best food we have had in nungwi! My husband and i enjoyed a lot. Especially the peri chicken. Special Thanks to the lovely Nancy for the best service. So helpful and sweet and made sure we had everything in check.

  Trendy new look hotel

  Z Hotel is a modern hotel. Formerly was J A Residence Hotel. Its located near CIQ within less than 10mins walk. Very accommodating and very cosy hotel with good JB straits & city view. Everything in the room was freshly good & new. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Z Hotel is just opposite the popular night market call Bazaar Karat which is well known among their locals and foreigners. Currently Z Hotel do not serve any breakfast but local eateries are easily found nearby and everywhere in JB central. I would highly recommend Z Hotel if u wish to stay in d central of JB and within walking distance to most places. Last but not least, no frets its value for money hotel. We will definitely return.

  A small boutique hotel. I stay in double room with no window, the bathroom does have a faint smell of sewer, the room is not too big, extra drinking can top up in machine at small lobby. The toiletries provided is good quality. Shower area is big with hand held or overhead, loved the big thick towels. Overall clean.

  Stayed 3 nights in a Deluxe Twin room. Realised they are not operating the cafe at ground floor. There is only one lift and the staircase was locked.Had to call to prepare the pre-booked extra bed. Facilities: The bathroom is two steps up. A rain shower and hand held shower with water temperature fixed at "optimal". Shut heater switch accidentally (No Smoking sticker on switch) and end up with cold shower. The person at the reception cannot explain why there was no hot water when we asked the next morning. 3 local TV channels and 1 showing Korean drama. No fridge in room. Did not notice the door hanger to make-up room hanging in a open wardrobe. Had to ask housekeeper to make-up room. Could hear the singing at the karaoke/bar which operates after 10pm. Took a while to fall asleep.Location: there are a few eateries 5 to 15 minutes walk away. Ipoh Parade, a mall is 20 minutes away. Staff: Friendly and pleasant. One Chinese staff recommended a popular Chicken rice stall when we asked. Turns out he was the main staff who could answer our queries.Overall, it was an average stay - will pick another hotel next time.
