Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a fan. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The resort offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, beach volleyball, crazy golf, golf, archery and fishing. A wide range of sports are available, including water sports such as water skiing, windsurfing, kayaking, snorkelling and diving or, for a fee, jet skiing. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts and yoga. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, live music, a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive can be booked. All-inclusive holidaymakers enjoy special extras like snacks, in addition to a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A continental breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options.

    Mixed Feelings After a Family Wedding Stay

    I stayed at Dreams Playa Mujeres for a family wedding in June 2026 and came away with mixed feelings.There were definitely some things I enjoyed. My room was clean throughout the stay, and I liked both the room itself and the balcony. The food was generally good, room service was dependable, and the bartenders made some great drinks! The wedding events were beautiful, and my family had a lot of fun spending time together.My biggest surprise was the pools. The water was so warm that it was never refreshing, even during the hottest part of the day. We also spent some time at the neighboring Sandals resort, and their pools were noticeably cooler. After experiencing both, I found myself wishing the pools at Dreams had been maintained differently.The reason for my low rating, though, was an experience at Mezes, the Mediterranean restaurant.My family was having dinner together when one of my relatives told a joke. We laughed, and almost immediately a staff member came over and told us to quiet down. We thought that was odd, but we complied. Later that same evening, other tables were laughing and carrying on conversations at about the same volume, yet no one approached them.What bothered me was that our group was Black and the tables that were left alone were White. I cannot know what was in anyone's heart, but based on what I personally observed, I left with the impression that we were treated differently.We asked to speak with a manager because we wanted to understand what had happened. Instead of listening to our concerns, he seemed irritated that we brought them up. At one point he rolled his eyes, which made the conversation feel even more dismissive.That interaction changed the way I felt about the resort. I can overlook warm pools. I can overlook small service issues. What I have a harder time overlooking is feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously.I am glad I was able to celebrate my family member's wedding, and there were parts of the resort that I genuinely enjoyed. Unfortunately, the experience at Mezes and the response from management are what I remember most from the trip.

    We had a great time at Dreams with my extended family. We went to another resort a couple of years ago and told them we should try Dreams, since we've been to another of their properties. My family was really impressed with the rooms, staff, and overall resort experience we had at Dreams.We all had a Master Suite ocean view, and we all appreciated the spaciousness of the rooms, bedroom, dining room, living room, bathroom, and the half bath was a cherry on top. The views were amazing from sunrise to sunset. The entertainment team, Richie, was wonderful at keeping us laughing and entertained every day, from pool & beach volleyball to playing the crazy game every day!Pedro was amazing and always had the drinks flowing to all 9 of us while we were poolside. Samuel at Maris always had a smile on his face and could tell he loved his job. We always wanted to sit in his section for breakfast and lunch!The resort was going through some spot renovations, so we heard some drilling and sanding out by the pool and in one of the restaurants (Maris) during lunch one day.

    Room was nice, pool areas were nice. Food was just ok, just had no taste. The activities around the pool were fantastic. Alex was fantastic. He really involved everyone and made the experience great. The sewer smell was very bad.

    Not a good place. Food is not good compared to other all inclusive resorts. Under staffed. Not a good menu for food at pool and beach. Does not hold up to other preferred clubs. Wedding every night blasting music until midnight for everyone in the resort to hear in their rooms.
