Location

The resort lies right beside the beach and about 20 km from the city centre. Within 10 km are countless shops, restaurants, nightclubs and bars. A public transport stop is only a few minutes away on foot (about 300 m). Cancún airport is around 8 km.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 54 junior suites and 116 double rooms located in a 9-storey main building and a 6-storey auxiliary building. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, 24-hour room service, a laundry service and a hairdresser. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area.

Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Most units include a balcony with sea views, where guests can relax and linger a while. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A trouser press is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and bathrobes are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. The wide range of activities offered at the hotel ensures that there is something new to do every day, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball, golf, archery, fishing and horse riding. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as water skiing, windsurfing, jet skiing, paddle boating, canoeing, sailing, kayaking, snorkelling, diving, water aerobics and aquafit. For a fee, guests can also enjoy banana boat rides and catamaraning. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, callisthenics and aerobics. Various wellness options are available at the complex, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, massage treatments and a solarium. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and live music.

Meals

The dining area includes a restaurant and a bar. All-inclusive can be booked. A continental breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals, gluten-free meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    Plans changed and I booked this hotel just a few days before arrival. I needed a quiet place to crash and refuel for the weekend between business trips. Oleo couldn't have been more perfect! The hotel is very clean, views are gorgeous from common areas (and my room!). And being able to book an all-inclusive rate was important as I didn't want to worry about meals (and their dining plan also included room service).The staff was professional and happy to assist with whatever I needed --cash for tips in USD, directions to restaurants, and the glass of champagne upon arrival was mucho bueno!! It's was helpful to have a mini-fridge and coffee maker in my room. Good news: there's a coffee shop downstairs included in dining plan--bad news: the coffee cup size was really small (like 16 oz?) and lukewarm.Plenty of places to lounge outside from pool deck to beach. The spa was also really nice and has a private pool as well. Great staff there too! I would not hesitate to stay here again.

    We had a bad experience at Oleo.I ordered chicken wings for my son because we saw that other guests had them. I was told they were going to check if it was possible. Then, the waiter Francisco approached his colleagues and told them that if I didn’t pay around 70 USD, they wouldn’t serve them to me.I guess he thought I couldn’t understand Spanish, but I actually do. In the end, I found that very rude, and unfortunately my son didn’t get what he wanted.

    Amazing place. Francisco is so sweet. Helped celebrate our birthdays with no hassle along with Felipe. Beautiful and calm place. Didn’t feel overwhelmed and loved all the food.     Great hotel Restaurants are very good, some facilities have some renovation needed ( basically in the common areas) Service was outstanding, never saw such friendly staff before and I can reffed here to: Sheila and Erendira for example . They work at the beach bar… although it was extremely hot they were always ready to serve you with a great smile .
