    Beautiful hotel in a great location. Very clean! Gorgeous common areas and the rooftop pool is amazing! The rooms were very nice but lacked a dresser for clothes. They also lacked drinking glasses and we had to ask for additional towels. The staff were very accommodating and the front desk was super helpful.The breakfast was included with our booking and it was very good, with lots of selections. We definitely plan to return!

    What I would call a "perfect" hotel

    I have done a lot of traveling and have stayed in a lot of hotels in all price ranges. Even some of the nicest hotels are often missing one or two things that I would like to see in a room. But I have to say the Catedral - where we stayed for 3 nights - was what I consider a perfect hotel, with everything you want in a hotel when travelling. It is a mid-sized (4 storey) modern hotel well located within La Paz with easy walking distance to the 7 km  Malecon and restaurants and shopping. The clean spacious rooms have tile floors, a large walk-in shower with a pull-out clothes line for drying clothes, make-up mirror, full-length mirror, solid safe that works, fridge, coffee machine, small balcony looking to inside court where you  can dry clothes, air conditioner, night tables on BOTH sides of bed with reading lights and electrical outlets, comfy bed, water, kleenex, etc. There is also abreakfast buffet, lounge area for sitting, and rooftop bar and pool.The bartender on the rooftop was amazing. The cocktails he made were not only tasty but were beautiful to look at - works of art really. The front desk staff were also very helpful and went out of their way to ensure one member in our party had the bandwidth needed to ensure he could participate in an important meeting he could not miss.Would highly recommend!

    This hotel is excellent in many ways and has no weaknesses. Here are just some of the positives: clean, bright, well-located, breakfast buffet, friendly and attentive staff, comfortable beds, and nice views from the fourth floor. It's just a short walk to the malecon and other nearby restaurants, coffee shops, and stores. I highly recommend this hotel!

    We spent a week here. Great location, easily walkable to the old city center and the Malecon. Great views of the sunset from the rooftop bar. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet with lots of options.
