    Ok hotel in good location with caveats, avoid avenue facing rooms X01 X02

    Overall the hotel is ok. The rooms are minimalistic with few amenities, some of the furniture is not well maintained (for example the office chair in my room had lost all gas), but overall still better than other cheaper chains. Noise isolation / soundproofing is good overall, but against the noise in the avenue facing rooms X01 or X02 it is not perfect. The noisy background is tolerable with the AC running and some white noise, but if you are a light sleeper I would suggest to ask for other rooms by phone, I would even suggest call by phone to check before and after reserving, or if not available go somewhere else. You are given 2 330ml water bottles, and additional bottled water is available in the vending machine downstairs. Breakfast is free (though minimal, still overall ok). I have stayed in this hotel many times, but I am becoming weary of it. If you do NOT need easy connectivity to the subway line (Linea 1 / Pink / Rosa), I would look for some other hotel closer to the airport if there is a cheaper or close by offer in the future.     This hotel was a last-minute choice. There are many excellent Marriott properties in Mexico City, but as I was booking on short notice, this was the only option near the airport within my company’s travel budget. The location is convenient—just a ten-minute Uber ride to the airport, typically under $5. There’s also a shopping center about three minutes away with several restaurants, and a Walmart less than ten minutes from the property.The rooms are extremely minimalist. The bed comes with only three small throw-sized pillows rather than standard ones. The hangers are the non-removable type and in poor condition. There’s no tea kettle or coffee maker provided. Upon check-in, I found just one bath towel and one hand towel in the bathroom; by the second day, the hand towel had disappeared and was never replaced.Access with the room key was a daily frustration. Each evening after work—and again after dinner—I had to have my key re-encoded because it would no longer open the elevator or my room. The front desk staff didn’t seem concerned that this happened twice a day. The only English-language TV channel available was CNN.Overall, my stay was uncomfortable. I would not return, even for a single night between flights, and would recommend choosing another property.     Bed sheets wasn’t clean and no shuttle service

    Reception very kind, but the bedroom had the sheets with wrinkles and hair. So probably they didn’t change it. I was really tired, just had a shower and couldn’t sleep, had to go down with all my staff (the phone to reception was busy all the time) and ask to change bedrooms.Also they say they have shuttle service to the airport but they don’t! And I found it out at the airport. I booked just because the shuttle service….     Horrible experience! Unsafe shuttle, rude staff, wrong room, and got yelled at over water. No help, no English support, and a scary scene outside. Avoid this hotel at all costs! We cried so much. We had to switch hotels at 11:00pm in CDMX!!!!     It's a pretty basic hotel, but just right for the last night of our trip because it's so close to the airport. The rooms were clean and the shuttle service in the morning was super convenient - especially since we had a very early flight. I would stay again in the future.
