  Clean and simple for a single night stop over.

  Quick night to head over to airport and found this hotel is a long way from airport. But room was modern and clean. Felt safe and good staff attentive to our needs. The shuttle is only for local 10k rides so plan ahead if you need an early taxi for the airport.

  No one would stay long, there’s little around, only a Burger King next door and a highway. Over the bridge is the town of Tepotzotlan. Though it wouldn’t be a long walk it would not be advisable and certainly not at night.Hotel is very basic, staff are fine. Rooms simple but bathroom very adequate with toiletries available. One small bottle of water provided. Tv only has local channels really. Bed was ok. WiFi worked but not the best. Breakfast would be generous to call basic, it really wasn’t very impressive but better than nothing I guess. Had all sorts of problems with my room key card in the lifts and getting into my room.For one or max two nights it does a job at an ok price. That’s all that really matters. Cityexpress Tep...   Terrible internet and food service

  If you go on business you need reliable internet; business center; a printer that works and you being able to order food. All of these things are either impossible or very difficult to achieve. Instead of resting and preparing it was a very wearing and taxing experience that ended up with no dinner; working into 3am (only got 3 hours of sleep); should not say they have a business center since the printer is one I would use only for school work and did not work! I hope never to have to return to this place. One good note, people are serviceable. They try to smile.... they are attentive helping with luggage. They do not have small fridges so they did store some things for me with no problem.   A chain hotel that strikes just the right balance

  We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel near Tepotzotlán where we would feel comfortable and not be “surprised”. The Hotel City Express just outside Tepotzotlán fit that description and more. We were very pleasantly surprised, with service, room quality and overall room-price ratio. The hotel is similar to a low-end Holiday Inn, but in my view with much more quality-control. I don’t know who owns this chain, but their standards were very high. Safety is always a concern, and there was controlled entrance to the parking lot/entrance. We were given our room immediately as well as internet access for up to 6 devices. The room had two double-beds and was surprisingly large (see all attached pictures). The room was extremely clean, somewhat austere but very nice and welcoming. The bathroom/shower is brand new and very clean. Our room faced the highway and we thought it might be noisy as there are many trucks passing along the highway but this is not the case. The extremely good rate also included breakfast for two at the “kitchen area”, which included fresh fruit, two types of juice, coffee, cereals, yoghurt, ham, cheese, freshly scrambled eggs, sauce, refried beans, toast and sweet breads, and pretty much whatever else you might want for a full breakfast. And despite using paper plates and plastic, the hotel boasts that all material is highly recyclable. The room also reminds you of the amount of water used in a shower, which for those of us concerned about the environment is a welcome reminder! While we only stayed one night, I look forward to another stay at this chain of hotels! Well done!
