  A great hostel!

  I spent 3 days and 2 nights at the hostel and all I have to say is that it was a great experience. The people in reception were kind. The bedroom and bathrooms are spacious and clean. I loved the weak atmosphere of the place at night, it gives a peaceful feeling. The food of the hotel was I want to thank Carlos Rojas for his excellent service during our stay, he makes us feel like if we were at home. He's such a great and respectful guy.

  This hostal is situated in an absolutely perfect location, right next to the main plaza. It’s actually a small hub of shops and restaurants in the same building, restaurants open late into the night contrary to many establishments in Mexico City. The hostal staff was helpful, the rooms were clean. They give fresh sheets and a towel upon arrival. There is also a big locker in the room for your stuff. Breakfast is decent though nothing special.Only three downsides: wifi only in communal areas, bad lighting and top bunk beds give on to each other, like a double bed with two mattresses. I slept very comfortably despite that.

  Is a very nice hostel in down town in Mexico City, great location, clean and friendly service. Is located in the middle of a very nice and vintage building with a lot of local shops with tons of different options

  I stayed here 2 nights, the guy in the front desk was kind, he gave us the room and charged 50 MXN per person as a guarantee that we were going to give the key, towel, and sheet back, I had to check out later in the day and a lady was very kind to me over the phone, too bad she didn't tell her colleagues from the night afternoon shift since they didn't trust me and looked me like a thief (not a nice feeling).The breakfast included is two pieces of white bread with butter and jam, a cup of coffee and one piece of fruit, you can also add industrial juice if you want to someone.The decor of the place is cool, beds are a nice size, soft, comfy pillow, hot water, but there is no table in the rooms or in the mirror's area of the restrooms so you can get ready for the day, I thought it was a trendy hostel with a fun environment but my surprise was that it was almost like a silent retreat, very lonely place and with not so much friendly staff, once you get your room you can forget that anyone would offer help to you.I didn't feel secure as there's no police taking care of the entrance (only for the "hotel" area) and everyone could enter the hostel zone.The place is pricey for what they deliver, the pool is an extra charge.

  We made the reservation, they told us the swimming pool was available (the main aim of our visit was to use the swimming pool becase in fact we live in DF) and when we arrived they told us there was a private event not announced to us and it was impossible to use it. In spite of all this and no interest of the desk to help us anyhow, the charge was made. We do not recommed these beds to spend a nice day. Very dissapointing! We lost our precious time talking to the desk!!!
