  Clean hotel but no maintenance

  As I said in the title of the review. The hotel is clean, as far as possible. It´s impossible for the cleaning staff to remove years of use from the furniture. Everything is very old. The door was broken from below, a lamp next to the bed does not turn on, hardly any water came out of the shower, the desk chair does not work properly, in short, it shows that they don´t give the correct maintenance to the hotel facilities.The only good thing is that the staff is very friendly.Unfortunately, it was a very bad experience.   This is a newly renovated hotel situated about 10 min drive outside downtown Santa Fe and has free car parking though this does get busy at night. Hotel is very close to Meow Wolf, a big attraction in the city.The room was large and very comfortable with a nice sofa, clean bathroom. The breakfast is served in the reception area and is what you get at every other HIX, bagels, cereal, bread, pancakes, yoghurt etc.The only disappointment was the lack of toothpaste. Despite the signs saying "Whatever you've forgotten, we've got it" [sic], the one time I have been in need....they didn't have it!!It's very well priced at less than $100 per night.   The room was big and clean with a good view of the water fountains of the nearby building.The bed was quite comfortable.The hotel is a short drive from Expo Santa Fe Mexico and the taxis/uber cost is 40-50 pesos.The breakfast was basic,not much of a selection.For lunch and dinner it's best to go to the samara shops.They have an array of restaurants.The hotel is approximately an hours drive from the main airport.The staff were friendly and always ready and willing to help.

  Scam with taxi drivers by front office of the in

  I was afraid to hail a taxi from the airport and inquired whether the hotel and book a taxi to pick me from the airport. The front office person Eric Martinez quoted 800 pesos for the trip if paying by cash and 928 if paying by card. But after being in the city I realized the amount for airport to hotel is just 350 pesos. The hotel got together with the driver Miguel Angel Garcia and ripped me off for 450 pesos. The front desk people are involved. Be careful with them. Better to boon Uber and be cautious with hotel people. They have a scam with taxi drivers.

  Was booked for holiday inn express, but had to move to holiday inn 50 meters further. Breakfast however i had to take in the express. Was not very amused with this fact, however the breakfast was excrllent.
