  HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE BEING AT THIS HOSTEL

  There are a lot of issues with this location! First of all, they have roaches! I have seen it crawling around in the microwave and in the room. I told staff and management about it and an exterminator never showed up! There is no soap in the restroom so people are not properly washing their hands and spreading God knows what all over the facility! Carla, staff member, arguing with guest! Same person picking an argument with me and when I match her energy, they want to say I am difficult! There's a lot of double standard to the point there's obviously racism! Management is supporting their unprofessionalism. They don't care about your safety by leaving ladders around the restroom area so you can hurt yourself! They have you clean your dishes from a small bucket of old cold water with little to no soap! How can you sanitize your dishes cleaning it in those conditions! When you bring those safety issues to their attention, they want to say that you're difficult and TARGET YOU! Back to the being racist. I was in the kitchen and this white guy lit the stove. I put a pot on top of the fire. Carla came in yelling at ME telling me I couldn't use the stove. She never said anything to the white guy and he was the one that lit the stove! I told her not to chastised me... giving her the same energy she gave me! Yet management said that I was rude to her staff! Mind you, Carla never said anything to the white guy. At minimum she should have talked to both of us...not just scold ME! BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION UNLESS YOU LOOK FORWARD TO GETTING SICK!!! They close all of the restrooms down at the same time and expect you to hold your bodily fluids! I can go on and on, but I will save it for the health department and my attorney! Oh, if you are on medication and it need to be refrigerated...for get it...you won't have access to it on a regular basis! Tissue hardly ever in the restroom and they expect you to wait until staff comes in to clean the bathroom and replace the toilet paper before you can clean yourself! Meanwhile, your clothes are soiled with bodily fluids! Bring the scenerio to Carla's attention and she gives you a nonchalant attitude and and no solution! FIND A BETTER PLACE TO SPEND YOUR MONEY!!!Roaches and being cleaned with dirty cold water! The sheets they give you smells like washing powder never touched it! I got sheets from them several times and each time it smells plain! This place has a problem using soap! Low water pressure in the toilet and they want to blame me of not flushing the toilet when several guest has had that issue even before I came according to someone else's comment months before... harassment and retaliation towards me for speaking up!

  Great customer service and good installations, perfect for resting if youre looking for something while you pass by. I had a long layover and it was the perfect distance from the airport and all the museum's

  It's a hostel so we're earbuds and your sleep mask on and you'll be fine! I got the female 4 bunkers room for like $10 a night and although the bed wasn't comfortable I managed to sleep somehow lol... Big and very clean bathrooms and showers with hot water! Bring soap to wash your hands every time you use the bathroom because there's no hand soap in bathrooms! There is tp thou.

  I like this hostel, cheap, perfect choice for my travel, good location and the staff was very friendly and helpful.I spent more than month in hostel Amigo, I had 10-beds room, too much, but everything was clean and the silence time at night was respected.

  Check the photos...this place has expired. The reviews reflect an old hostel profile. This place is now a transit centre for migrants primarily from Cuba, Venezuela and China intending on crossing the U.S border illegally. It's bar and vending machines are abandoned and most light fittings are empty of bulbs. It is dark and filled with families packed into cramp rooms. Literally a boarding house now. The reviews do not reflect this "new place". Staff were fine as was cleanliness, but this place is not safe. I met a man in my room who has his wallet stolen...not surprising as 90% of guests are illegal migrants...
