    Great location

Hotel offer good amenities and is located nearby the reforma, which connects to the most tourist destinations. Air Conditioning was helpful during our stay due to weather. Also, there are many restaurants and public transportations around.

Not working AC and uncomfortable beds

    rating19 Jul 2021

God: The guest relations, breakfast and maid service were excellent.Bad: We were a party of 13 and we have several rooms and the common things in all our rooms were the lack of air conditioning and the very uncomfortable beds. The beds were so bad that many in our parties has body ache for several days after checking out.I stayed in this hotel on 2001 and I can see the remodeling, but they forgot the AC. I remembered the same problem with air conditioning forcing us to sleep with open windows in a low air quality city like Mexico.

    Quite Satisfied!

Maria and I were part of a group from Australia taking advantage of 20 Day Best of Mexico, through TripaDeal. We had a large and clean room. Beds, usually in Mexico are hard but they suited us just fine. The shower was slow and the room which looked onto the street was, occasionally loud because of late night revelry and music. And yet, we slept. There was one person at Concierge who was most obliging. Breakfast was a buffet. It was quite good. Close to shops, restaurants and historic places.

    10 days in Mexico

    rating09 Mar 2020

We travelled to Mexico (5 couples) to learn and enjoy Mexican Culture & History. Our first stay was in Hotel Regente. We arrived at around 5 a.m in the morning. Hotel looked so dark, as if it was not in operation. Getting in the night shift receptionist gave us our keys (thanks god). Our room in the 3rd floor was small like a cage with a window opening to general operating chimney of the building. So no fresh air ! We got down to reception asking for a change...nothing happened as a) it took the receptionist 20 minutes to come back from his room and b) he didn't speak English!2 days after we managed to get a room with street view. Windows had missing sealings, so we felt literally sleeping on the street. So be very careful selecting the hotel. It needs an all over renovation.Breakfast was standard. The one thing which was good is its location.

Clean but just a standard hotel

    rating27 Jan 2020

Stayed for 3 nights. Breakfast at 7am is horrendous- lots of people from tour groups trying to get around the buffet. Queues!! Hot food ranged from chips to chicken nuggets to scrambled eggs to nachos. Some cereals available with yoghurt but limited fresh fruit options or bread options. Dinner in the evenings was better. Quality of food was better - though only had the chicken sandwich that came with chips and the chicken breast that also came with chips. More expensive than the cafe opposite which served good food but closed at the weekend. Hot water in shower but low pressure. Location ok for walking to historic centre - about 30 minutes.
