    Hotel Segovia was clean and staff polite and helpful. rtestaurant food was good except for one "tough old bird's" peruga (chicken breast) had ordered but did not eat.

    Excellent location! Nice value for your money! If you want to move around Mexico City the hotel is centrally located and just steps away from Glorieta Insurgentes Metro Station. Walking distance you have Roma Norte neighborhood with a lot of restaurants, street food vendors, bakeries, bars and if you walk across Chapultepec Avenue you are at Zona Rosa area and reforma avenue less than 1 kilometers away with a lof of markets, bars, restaurants, etc. Rooms are clean, hot water was available always, room service is excellent. The week we stayed they had issues with the A/C but the staff were nice to lend us a big fan and that was enough for us. The restaurant is nice and delicious if one day you just dont want to walk around and wander for breakfast. Thanks to all the staff for you attentions.

    Don’t know where to start. This official 4 star hotel is like a better hostel and should be changing its rating to 2 stars. Very unfriendly staff, especially the bell-Boy. The reception guys were okay although not making you feel welcome at all. One electrical outlet for the whole room, Wi-Fi hardly connects and the aircon is out of order. This is a hotel from the 50s so don’t expect anything. That’s what you get effectively. Nada-Nothing. Can you believe they don’t even provide one cheap bottle of water? If this is your last choice before sleeping in the street take it , otherwise run !

    Bad experience after the hotel caught fire and we were trapped at the roof

    We stayed a couple of nights but on the third night the hotel caught fire. There were no fire alarms (contrary to what the hotel stated) and there were no personnel helping at all. My little kids and my wife had to climb in the darkness of the night to the roof where we stayed for nearly two hours in the smoke until Mexico City firefighters arrived and made a hole on the wall of the neighbouring building to escape. The hotel assumed zero responsibility and until now has refused to answer any email regarding compensation. I'm working through my insurance to recover the costs. Fortunately no one died but a few people ended up in the hospital due to smoke inhalation.

    Well located on the edge of the Roma district making walking an option. Basic clean rooms, with helpful staff. A refrigerator in the room would have been useful. We didn’t go for the breakfast but dining area looked nice - lots of cafes/restaurants in east walking distance however.
