    A Moroccan first

    rating01 Jun 2026

A wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. The hotel is located on the beach with its own private section. The food was plentiful and good, the room was good except the view (car park). There were plenty of places to relax away from the crowd and 2 swimming pools. The cleaning staff deserve a mention as the hotel was spotless. The staff were exceptional, especially Nisreen in the pool bar, nothing was too much trouble for her. Evening entertainment was available every night. The hotel was value for money for my wife and I and we would definitely consider returning for another holiday, hopefully later this year.

Nice hotel, sunbeds all saved by 6am, only get treated well if tip staff

    rating01 Jun 2026

Me and my husband stayed here for 7 nights in the last week in May. We are both in our 30s. The reception staff and cleaners were friendly and helpful. The Hotel, rooms and pool area all very clean. Food and drinks were nice but same every day. The hotel itself is lovely looking and quite small. Bad points of this hotel and 90% of the other residents agree also - * Waters in the restaurants are very rude, if you do not tip them they will not even say hello and you are made to feel uncomfortable every time you go for food, there were never teaspoons/tablespoons on the tables for breakfast, lunch and dinner - we had to awkwardly ask everyday for a spoon for our coffee or pudding! This hotel isn't the cheapest and residents should not get better treatment if they tip every single member of staff to get a better experience. All residents should get the same respect and treatment. * Sunbeds all saved before 6:30am - again if you tipped the staff around the pool area they save beds for residents. Me and my husband just had to rest our towel on the concrete next to the pool most days as we would come down for breakfast at 7:30am and all beds would be saved. This spoiled our holiday as we like to chill around the pool all day. 80% of the beds that were saved were left unattended for hours on end. The one day we did get beds, we went for lunch and our towels were ripped off by an elderly french couple who give them to the pool attendant who did nothing. *Silence around the pool area and hotel in general, no music played at all, not even at the bar, only for 15 minutes when aqua aerobics was on. *Age range of this hotel is for 70 years plus. *No water/beach ball games or entertainment/anything going on in the day, night entertainment wasn't good, either music playing from a laptop or sometimes had singers who did not know the words to any songs. *Pool isn't as big as it looks in pictures. Only had the one bigger pool that was open.

    Not enough Sunbeds

    rating31 May 2026

Overall, we had a good stay at this hotel. The staff were lovely, friendly, and always happy to help. We found that if you tipped the staff, they really looked after you and went the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. One downside was the sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool. They were all taken by around 7am every morning, despite the pool not opening until 9am. This was very frustrating and made it difficult to find somewhere to relax unless you got up extremely early. There are a lot of steps at the hotel and the lifts were often not working. I would also advise guests to be cautious when visiting the hotel shop. Unfortunately, we found the shop staff to be quite rude and unhelpful, which was disappointing compared to the excellent service provided by the rest of the hotel team.Despite these issues, the friendly and hardworking hotel staff made our stay enjoyable overall.

    Good as always

    rating29 May 2026

I was in the hotel in March and May (but TA doen't allow me to write reviews quickly after another)Both times I had great clean rooms on a higher floor. The cleaners (Jane and Malika) were friendly and did their work very efficient. In the restaurant (as well at lunch, breakfast and dinner) I got an excellent service of Brahim, Mohamed, Abdu and a lot of younger staff members (Soukaina, Hela, Mustapha, Ismael,... thanks a lot all off you). The atmosphere in the restaurants is very relax - some people dress up, some come down in 'normal' clothes. It is sad that some guests don't keep themselves to the dress code: a very small bikini "covered" by a top where you can see through is not my idea of descent clothes at breakfast or lunch.I think the managment could be stricter.I heard some people saying food was every morning the same: I don't understand that. There is so much on the buffet where you can choose from. At home I have much less choice. The maybe only less good thing of the hotel is the horrible music they play in the restaurants. It is already rather noisy in there and the music doesn't help as people just start to talk louder.I read in some reviews you have to tip to get good service. But being on my own I had lots of time to look around and in my opion nearly every guest got good service and a lot didn't tip. I don't understand these tourists. The staff works hard for a low salary. Giving a small tip helps cleaners and waiters to have a bit more comfortable life. I will return after the heath of the summer !

    Great hotel

    rating27 May 2026

First time in Morocco and our first stay in a Riu hotel definitely didn’t disappoint. We were so impressed with the decor when we arrived and saw the reception and bar areas, staff got us checked in very quickly and were very polite. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable and we had a good sized balcony overlooking the pool. Luckily our luggage was taken to the room for us as the lift was out of order at the start of our holiday. All staff were friendly and hardworking - we are early risers and every morning we saw the pool area being cleaned down. Our room cleaner was lovely too even came to say goodbye to us on our last day! Sun loungers are reserved very early as mentioned in lots of reviews - we didn’t mind as we prefer the beach and never had an issue getting a sunbed there. Food is probably better than most other large all inclusive hotels we’ve visited - the pizza was definitely our favourite! Good atmosphere around the hotel, very relaxed which is what we were hoping for and the kind of place where you can do your own thing not being pressured into joining activities or trips. Also found it nice to see the dress code was quite relaxed at meal times some people dressed up for dinner and others in jeans and T-shirts so it didn’t feel like you had to get done up every night to go for your meal. Do agree with other reviews about the tipping - we noticed differing levels of service more so at the beach a few people were having drinks brought to them and ordering from there but most had to walk back to the pool bar (not an issue for us as only a minutes walk away). Overall a good holiday and we would return but would look into a different time of year as we had sea mist a lot of days and it didn’t always clear up by lunch time.
