Boutique Hotel Tagadirt… should be condemned Hostel fulladirt.

A warning, as a Grandparent please do not bring children to this hotel it’s seriously Dangerous for them be it Trip Hazards, cleanliness, Broken glass on mirrors basic stuff like that but mainly cleanliness the rooms are filthy dirty, we actually went straight out bought bleach cliths, toilet paper as it’s rashioned and after 3 days and still not a single towel in the room we bought them too. Any rooms in block 6 ours was 6005 are a nightmare as they sit right above a nightclub that is LOUD until 3 sometimes 4am, we also had building work drilling and hammering from about 4 am 2 nights. This hotel Was once I guess state of the art but that was a long long time ago…it’s now more like a Hostal a lot of single travellers and some long term residents that spend the phone day getting drunk round the pool, and I mean full litre bottle of vodka by midday drunk, and then are easily flared some days became abusive to guests and nothing was done by management. I understand these people are unwell it’s an addiction but you’re booking a holiday at a hotel not a room at the YMCA. There are some positives for people without children, it’s cheap and the pool guy is really good at his job and a nice fella, the pool is actually the shining light of the hotel loads of loungers too, ask and he will find you one. The bar is crap a few bottles of water beer and 2 bottles of wine in a filthy Fridge. The worst part though is the rooms themselves they are the pits even at £20 a night, bed bugs, nothing fits or works and there’s a health issue with cleanliness for sure. Agadir is great as a place but avoid hotel dodgadirt. The main issue is the room it’s old filthy, deffo bed bugs we got bit to death and nothing in the room is at a

It`s not the Ritz but it is the Pitz

I arrived at check in at 1200hrs on the 19th to be met by a rude and arrogant member of staff, who pointed at a sign stating check in is at 1400hrs, I asked if I could wait somewhere and was told the restaurant adjacent to the pool.I made my way to the restaurant and found it to be the pool snack bar......with Christmas images remaining on the glazing, I asked for a beer, whereby the server came my side of the serving area and removed a beer from the fridge (The bar is in fact the fridge). The beer was warm as the fridge was not plugged into the mains electrical supply!Being Half Board I asked regarding the arrangements for meals, it was explained all meals were taken in the restaurant (Pool snack bar) and given a menu, this consisted of Pizza, Burgers, Chicken Nuggets and Chips - not what I was expecting as the amenities referred to within the booking identified two restaurants (One referred to as the International Restaurant - it was not open), leaving the snack bar as being the only option.I waited until 1400hrs and was then shown my room.......It was not as expected, Dirty, poor and damaged furniture, loose electrical sockets, a bath that was so stained, even if it was clean, looked filthy, I opened the curtains and was aghast to see a gentleman smoking adjacent to my window - I now had a choice close the curtains and spend time without daylight or lay on the bed being watched by my neighbour. WIFI does not reach the rooms and no TV is available - I asked myself, "What do the fly`s do for entertainment?" The complimentary bathroom products were very basic - bar of soap and a small shower gel....I decided, as it was an early flight, to freshen up, shock horror - no towelI then decided to lay down and rest - shock horror - no pillow case on the pillow - I found the cleaner who handed me a thread bare towel and stained pillow case.It was at this point I left the hotel for sustenance and whilst out decided to book an alternative hotel via Booking.com - by 1700hrs I had booked the Royal Mirage at an additional cost of £214.00 for bed and breakfast - Evening meals were charged at 220 Dirhams per night - based on my 4 night stay and at todays exchange rate I am out of pocket to the amount of:Royal Mirage - £214.16Sustenance - 880.00 dirhams - £70.35Total: £284.96 - but money well spent!I left the Appart-Hotel Tagadirt at 1800hrs, spending only 4hrs in the resort. When accessing my Taxi, the driver asked why I was checking out of "The Stinky Hotel". I will leave you with that thought.

Lovely on arrival, and staff very helpful and pleasant.First room (before we asked to be moved) was filthy and smelled awful. The appliances were filthy and fridge broken. Once moved to another room on first impression was an improvement (it was late and dark)however the bedding was torn and dirty, the towel was also dirty . As daylight broke, again the room was filthy, the windows were hanging off and the door into the room was worn and had gaps at the bottom with a lovely army of ants and cockroaches having a great time. There were also ants on the bed. The legs of the bed were inside plastic water bottles with sand. The 2 rooms we had bore no similarities to those shown on websites to the point we wondered if we were at the right place. We booked into another hotel and had a fabulous time in Agadir. I have stayed in many budget hotels and don’t expect anything other than basic and clean but unfortunately this was neither. I wouldn’t recommend and would AVOID even at the cheap room rates. The hotel we moved to was only a little more expensive but was a palace in comparison.

I booked this hotel via a travel agent and it was a mega disaster Constant banging from people making makeshift repairs and black mold in room 1004 I was given . Breakfast was four pieces of baguette if you were lucky on a morning. Nice staff but tye building is ruinous and very dirty and run down which is a shame as Agadir is a nice place
