Location

The hotel is located only 10 min from the town centre, directly on the beautiful beach of Agadir. The hotel also has the advantage of having its own private beach. Nearby places of interest include the marina, Birds Valley and the Kasbah of Agadir. Agadir Airport is 25 km away.

Facility

Units include 6 apartments and 110 double rooms located in a 2-storey main building and a 3-storey auxiliary building. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. The freshwater pool complex includes heated outdoor pools and a children's area. A sun terrace, sun loungers, and parasols are available. Refreshing drinks are served at the poolside snack bar. A variety of activities such as tennis, beach volleyball and volleyball or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking, are offered at the resort. Guests can take part in a comprehensive water sports programme, which includes snorkelling and aquafit, with windsurfing, jet skiing, canoeing, sailing, catamaraning and kayaking available for a fee. The resort offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, darts, callisthenics and aerobics or, for a fee, billiards. A spa, a sauna and beauty salon are available in the wellness area. Additional leisure activities include a kids' club, a kids' disco, live music and a dance club.

Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy their meals in the cosy atmosphere of the 4 restaurants, which are equipped with high chairs. All-inclusive can be booked. A delicious breakfast gives guests plenty of energy for the day. At lunch and dinner, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers snacks. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Excellent holiday. The entertainment team are fantastic the activities are pitched at just the right level, providing a wonderful atmosphere. We had a lot of fun and participated in some of the games and activities. The shows are extremely professional. The food was amazing with lots of choice and excellent quality although more aimed at adults which suited us. Having the beach with lots of beds only steps away was perfect. Rooms were well cleaned each day. The gym is easily accessible and substantial. The manager was super helpful. The holiday far exceeded our expectations. Great value.

    Beautiful hotel !! I had emailed the hotel asking for a ground floor room as my husband is disabled and we were given one. A beautiful big room too. Clean on arrival and cleaned daily 👌 .We found the restaurant and food both very good and the staff we super helpful and attentive. The pool area was cleaned every night and the pool itself every morning. There were loads of sunbeds so no sunbed wars on a morning. I had read comments suggesting that French were treated better than English however we did not find this the case with us , there was a great atmosphere. All were treated equally. Announcements were in French and English !!The staff, oh the staff !! Absolutely superb. Some of the most friendly and helpful staff we've ever come across. This in all areas be entertainment, bar, lobby, cleaners.... etc .The negatives for us (hence the 4 rating) no kids club. This hotel is advertised as having one and after a few days our 6 year old was getting a bit bored. No mini disco. Beds are rock hard too.All in all we had a great stay and would absolutely return but maybe just myself and my husband unless of course there were a mini club active. If there had been 1 it would have been a big 5 star from us 😁

    Budget-Friendly Gem in a Fantastic Location – We Loved Our First Morocco Holiday!

    We’ve just returned from a wonderful week at the Royal Decameron Tafoukt Beach Hotel in Agadir, and as a family of four on our first visit to Morocco, we absolutely loved it!First of all, the location is fantastic – right on the beach and perfectly central for exploring Agadir and the surrounding sightseeing spots. Being able to stroll along the promenade and dip in and out of the city so easily really made the holiday special.The food was another big positive for us. We enjoyed the different themed buffet nights, and the à la carte restaurants were great too – plenty of choice and lots of delicious meals throughout the week.A huge shoutout to the entertainment/animation team who were so friendly, positive and incredibly hardworking. We were really impressed watching them switch effortlessly between French and English all day long while keeping the atmosphere fun and upbeat.Like many other reviewers have mentioned, the hotel and rooms are a little dated and could definitely benefit from some refurbishment and TLC. However, our family room was spacious, clean and perfectly comfortable for what we needed. Our kids especially loved spotting the tortoises wandering around the terrace areas every day!Noise-wise, yes, it can be lively at night. It genuinely didn’t bother our children, my husband wisely packed ear plugs, and as an ex-festival goer I can pretty much sleep anywhere, so it wasn’t an issue for us personally.I also wanted to comment on some reviews mentioning the hotel mainly caters to French guests. For us, this actually added to the experience rather than detracted from it. We enjoyed dusting off our GCSE French, and it sparked some lovely conversations with our children about Morocco’s history, its links with France and Spain, and the country’s fight for independence. It became an unexpected learning experience alongside a relaxing holiday.Overall, we had a fabulous week full of sunshine, lovely people, great food and happy family memories. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly but cheerful hotel in an unbeatable location, this place is well worth considering. We’re already talking about revisiting soon!

    Pontins holiday club for the French

    Bit disappointed with this holiday, not at all what I was expecting Morocco to be like, the area around the hotel although kept clean by street cleaners had a run down feel to it, empty restaurants and shops on the main road it really reminded me of Blackpool with palm trees! Lots of seagulls which I have never experienced on holidays abroad before.The hotel is in a good position across the promenade from the beach and shops/restaurants (kfc, McDonald's and Pizza Hut) 100mtrs away. It is a bit dated decor wise and rooms although clean were dated, beds were very comfortable though and our room was a good size for 2, was cleaned daily and beds changed every couple of days, towels changed daily - they were not the best looking white towels I've seen but then again guests were bringing them poolside even though you get pool towels! Food was very good, breakfast usual all types of egg, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, croissants and toast, lunch and evening all offerings were hot and plentiful, refreshed regularly, no separate kids menu. There are 2 al a carte restaurants which were good too. Pool area is nice, one main pool, plenty of sun beds available throughout our stay during the day. The pool area is cleaned every evening, sun beds put away so the whole area can be washed down, the walk ways around the hotel we're also jet washed every week.The only downside to our holiday was the noise, entertainment starts at 10am till 12.30 then 3pm to 7 ish, it's very French orientated lots of French pop music, entertainment team do dance routines to these and organize darts games and ball games but it is very loud and poolside. It's starts again around 9pm with more loud french music and an adults mini disco which is followed at 9.45pm by the main entertainment either poolside or in the theatre - this is not our scene so I can't comment on what the late entertainment consisted of. During the day certain guests thought it acceptable to play their own loud music via portable speakers disturbing guests and one couple found it acceptable to smoke pot around the pool!! If this is your scene then your quids in but if you want a quiet holiday relaxing with a little background music think again, all in all it reminded me of a pontins holiday club for the French!
