    We've been there for two nights before to leave the country, and after 8 days running the whole country we can say this is one of the best riads value for money we have stayed.Great location, wonderful breakfast and excellent hospitality, big thank you for all the staff, specially for Ahmed, good job mate!

    Clean, Location was great, Food Excellent, Staff friendly.I highly recommend this Riad its very private and the staff was super friendly and helpful, a little miscommunication regarding credit card usage but other than that had no complaints, the beds great, the decor beautiful. I hope to stay there again in the future and enjoy the hot tub and maybe a couple more nights. I felt very welcome and recommend this place to everyone. Prices for snacks were good and also the staff was always willing to help with anything.

    A beautiful artistic place right in the heart of Madina

    Essouira is my favorite city in morocco. i have stayed in lot of other places but my stay in Riad asmitou was best experience in Essouira. The riad gives feeling of french and moroccan art. The place is quiet and friendly staff, Caroline herself met us during breakfast and suggested us for interesting scheduled event in city.I found her very informative and cooperative.Also they offer good price, I'd higly recommend riyad asmitou to everyone.

    Cute artistic place from old French movie)

    There was four of us, two mature couples, and we really enjoyed Asmitou. First of all- it's situated in the very heart of Old Medina, 5 min walk from Bazaar, 10 min walk from fantastic Fishermen's port, where you can buy fresh seafood nd grill it just around the corner. We were warmly welcomed by the host, a man whose name I misfortuned to forget, and who could remind you on the old French movies' actor, like Law is a low or like) He'd treat you in a cute old-fashioned manner, he spoke pure continental French, in other words- he rather perfomed than did his routine job) And this made the ambiance if the Riad, domestic by itself, even more feel-like -home. The design of Asmitou was highly artistic, too, they've built it literally from scratch, nearly from ruins (you can find a photobook at the coffee-table in reception elling you the whole thing on reconstrucion process). They have two floores, on the upper one there is a terrace with Medina overview, we spent our evenings there.It's also in a 10-min walk distance from the beach where I trie to learn how to surf.The only thing that might bother you is wi-fi which is powerfull enough only in the ground floor.Will definitely stay here again, and would recomend to the others do so!

    Good location if travelling with Supratour

    My husband and I walked to the riad from the bus stop. Caroline provided us with very useful directions. The riad is in a quiet section of the medina and within walking distance to the beach. We had a an early morning bus at 6am. The riad gave us breakfast, which was really lovely, as no other place we stayed at did the same when we had an early departure. I would highly recommend it.
