  Off the Beaten Track

  Dar Diamar is not what one would expect off the Beaten Track outside of Essaouira. Off a dirt road where sheep graze, is a - Frank LLOYD Wright style Riad. When entering through the gates, you are greeted by the host or hostess as if you we’re family. Inside the walls, the livingroom reflects the elegant tastes of the owners. The garden is huge . Planted with giant olive trees and a mixture of exotic flowers, offering shade from the sun, a swimming pool at the edge of the huge terrace.. a real paradise. Breakfast included is served family style and dinner which is extra.. well, why go anywhere else !! This is the place to write your book or have a family reunion.   An Oasis of Tranquility

  The host and hostess are wonderfully attentive, and the food is sublime.We had the best of French gastronomy and the delights of Moroccan cuisine.Each day was different and Our room ( Almond ) was off from the rest of the house and had its own private terrace for sunbathing and the french doors overlooked the beautiful garden. The swimming pool was virtually ours during our stay . We had not planned to stay as long we did but found it difficult to leave and stayed a few more days. Although the actual location is about a 20 minutes drive to the city of Essaouria, this was not a problem. Our package included a hire car at a much reduced rate ( £10 per day) for two days. We plan on returning again with friends and family.

  We spent 3 days 2 nights in this great lovely Dar Diamar in Essaouira city and its waw, what agreat service's, its easy to describe, just unique, a large nice gathering place with all Roims features.The place is an elegant designed house,the views are just perfect, the meals under the beautiful olive tree created memorable moments.Dar Diamar is the wonderful hosts and amzing.I really recomomnde this place to Any body looking for a relaxing calm holiday in essaouira city.   After our wonderful stay 2 years ago, we come back with other friends in our favorite B&B ! It's still the retreat we love to stay at, as Mireille and Jerome are fantastic hosts!! The dinners are the family holidays gathering we need... We love!!Essaouira without Dar Diamar won't be Essaouira.
